A Cemita is a Torta (Mexican sandwich) with attitude. Traditionally served without meat, the better to complete your sandwich with freshly grilled meats from food vendors, they are a tradition of the Southern Mexican State of Puebla. You can get a "Traditional" which is a great lacto-vegetarian meal, or get yours with any number of meats featured. I have had Pollo Adobada, which is marinated grilled chicken, Milanesa de Pollo which is fried chicken, and the surprisingly good grilled salmon. Everything is fresh here. And Mexican Futbol (Soccer) matches are always on. Suggestion, BYO Swiss army knife if you have kids or light eaters, they don't cut these huge sandwiches in two for you.

Good meats... There was not a pastor oppo but I asked another customer if he was a regular and if so what he might recommend. He said yes and milanesa de res, a breaded milanesa that this gavacho had not heard of. Oddly I'd just been interested in entering the chicken fried steak ring again and this was sort of like that. Tho much better-- hefty portions of avocado mixed with everything else. It was gigantic...even someone so Gordo as me could have split it into two meals with a modicum more of moderation. And the meat was perfect. Better than any chix fried steak. Would recommend and if I go again I'd get extra onion and get the chipotle inside not on the side

I dont know what these other people are reviewing but these tortas are fire lol my gf put me on. Take out only which is great because the parking lot is small and theres always spot since people pick up and go. If you place your order at the window orders usually take 5-10mins. The wait is worth it. Had the #4 and #6 and a order of chalupas. All amazing, the Chipotle spread is very spicy so if you like them mild get the pickled jalapeños. Second time here, will be back.

Hi I'm just want to say that I'm a Mexican and if you don't speak Spanish , don't even try to go to this place , because the employee don't speak English and they gonna make your order wrong or you gonna end up having something totally different of what you order , even for me that I speak Spanish is way to difficult to comunicate with the people who work there ! This is not the first time they get my order wrong. , and when I ask to get a new cemita they refused to make a new one and instead they gave me my money back ! I told them I don't want my mine back I just want a new cemita because I was hungry , but they refused to make a new one . Some other time I when there and I asked to have my cemita cut in half and they refused to cut it in half ! I ask why? And they told me that they not allow to cut cemita in half ! What a dumm answer!! There is no customer satisfaction in this place I even call the owner to place a complaint but he gave me this BS and he didn't do anything about it ! That is way I won't ever go back to this place or the one on Van Nuys Blvd because they belong to...
