Cemitas Poblanas — Restaurant in Los Angeles

So I have dabbled with the idea of writing a review on these guys for as long as I have had a yelp account. You see it's a very dangerous idea, one that can potentially have a massive irreversible impact, and so I admit I have been scared selfish! But I am having a change of heart, and I am sharing my little secret, maybe I will regret it later, but time will tell... and after all I do believe in karma so I am hoping this deed will not come back and bite me in the ass! Why it could happen in a number of ways you see, their sudden popularity could make them greedy and result in an exorbitant hike in prices, or they make so much money they decide to move to nicer digs, further away from me, OR the worst outcome would be, they get so slammed busy, that they lose the authenticity and love you taste in every exquisite morsel. OR the worst of it all, all of the above mentioned scenarios happen!! That to me is scarier than a horror movie.

Ok ok , calm down Roshni...before I scare myself into deleting this, here it is: This is a hole in the wall, hidden (no more) gem. Their food is how real Mexican food is supposed to be, its no tex mex, no watered down ( or cheesed up, if I may say so) American-Mexican affair! The food is delicious and screams authenticity. Everything is great but their Cemitas and tortas ( sandwiches) in particular are to die for, delicious chicken or beef, piled high with fresh avocado, black bean spread, Mexican string cheese, roasted jalapenos, onions with hot and red sauces on the side are indeed from another world ( duh! mexico). I was looking forward to trying this cemita place, since I've heard good reviews about it. It's not that great! Maybe would've been better if I took it to go. They have their TV's so loud that the people taking my order not once but twice in the same visit missed an item ordered. Which was my son's food. I personally don't like to eat before my children and it was my son's food they kept forgetting and when question about it " ooo you didn't order it". And the cemitas were just okay chipotle didn't have any taste to it. There's another cemitas place like 5 blocks down, they're much better in taste and the restaurant is much cozier and the employees give much better...

WHAT HAPPEN TO THIS PLACE !!!!! Before it was good, great quality, and amazing customer service. However, now it has gotten worst there cemitas don’t have that amazing flavor it’s now bland. That is not the worst the WORST OART IS CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM ANA I THINK SHE IS A LADY IN FRONT CHARGING.
