El Camaronero #2 — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Horrible service there is only 2 people working up front and its horrible customer service. I have been there 3 times, I went there for the Camarones sarandiados. 1st time there walked in looked abandoned but I like to give restaurants a chance. We ordered margaritas of 1 flavor and there was none so she brought what ever there was. Then ordered pitcher of a Certain beer and there was none so ended up bringing what ever there was. They brought the food , it was good. But then we found little flies on my kids drinks 😕. We finished and paid btw they took about 1 hr to serve.

2nd time there same thing nothing to drink only what they offered . We ate and left. They took same time

3rd time there horrible they took 1 hr and no drinks yet, we asked for our margaritas and they said they didnt have that flavor. We got a bit upset because they couldve told us a long time ago. We agreed to another flavor then 30 more min passed and they were serving another family drinks that had just walked im 15 min ago. At that point we got up and let them know we were leaving And Waiters still got mad and gave us attitude when we decided to leave instead of apologizing.

Sadly we know the owner, please do better and get more employees and please keep ur place clean. I really tried to give them a chance but didnt work out employees said they were upset too cause owner didnt get more people or more merchandise specially at the bar all the bottles have been setting there for a...

I’m not the one to ever leave reviews, like I rarely do but this really has to be one of the worse experiences I’ve had at a restaurant ☹️🥴. It took a while for them to take our order. The restaurant was not busy at all and they still took 40-45mins to bring our food out after serving another table first who got there 20mins after us. My tostada mixta was dry and salty. And the other plate was with shrimp and bacon which was overcooked. Not once (none at all) did they come to our table to see if we needed a refill, or to ask if we needed anything. I still had to ask for my check after being ignored and they never brought it to the table so I had to go to counter and ask for it after waiting for someone to make an appearance at the counter 😅. I get the aguachilis. A bit raw for my liking so I take them to go and add lemon at home and let it sit for an hour or so. Phone orders are tricky. They might give your order to someone who happened to come in before you who ordered the same thing (only when they walked in) or they give you what didn't ask for. Like a wet burrito, if you ask for green it will come with red. No beans, they add more. Not a bad little spot but they are not on top of who ordered what and how they want their meal.
