La Chuleta Fresca Grill — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Been here two times now. Found them on IG on SFVEats. I tried their tacos on taco $1 Tuesday special. I got three mixto, three asada, three carnitas and one Al Pastor. All the meats were flavorful and not dry one least bit. The salsas that are included give the tacos an extra burst of flavor.

On Thursday, I got their other special which are $2 tostadas. I got two mixto and two asada. They pile on meat, bean spread, lettuce and tomatoes. They also include a bit of pickled onions on the side. The food hits the spot and this is probably my fav taco spot past North Hollywood area. Today i ordered food, told them I was going to pick it up at 9:30 am and even got there at 9:40 am. They still had not even started my order. They told me that they forgot. When I got my order I told them that if they where sure it was not cold because last time the food was cold, the cheese not even melted (got a quesadilla), and they told me yes that it was hot. So when I got to my car and I started eating it it was cold and also really greasy. Disappointed. An update. My son told me about this place and I'm so happy he did. They have $1.00 Taco Tuesdays and $2.00 Tostada Thursday's. The tortillas are hand made and they pack the meat on every taco or tostada. Sorry there are no pictures of our food they didn't last long lol 🤣😜. Been back a few times and have had different meats and they were all delicious 🤤.
