Encino & Van Nuys My Taco Man Catering — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I urgently needed a top quality catering company to cater my sisters baby shower and as my sister absolutely loves tacos, I wanted Mexican food. After lots of browsing online, we came across this company and was very pleased to see that they do tacos and that you get free Mexican red rice plus panchos beans with our order. Also, we got utensils, napkins and containers for any left overs. We went with the Taco Man package because we wanted the premium steak too and the minimum 2 hour serving. I was really impressed with quality of the food on the day, super fresh and super tasty. The chef turned up on time as promised and was extremely polite and friendly. If I could give this company no stars I would, seeing as how they did not even show up to fill their contractual obligations. They were scheduled to provide tacos for 75 people for a wedding rehearsal dinner. The bride groom, and many attendees spent hours calling and emailing them when we finally came to the conclusion that they would not be coming.

After this incident they had the audacity to not only not apologize profusely but to insist they had tried to contact the bride and groom, but mysteriously left no messages or missed calls and to insist on payment for their non show. I have used My Taco Man for a couple of events for my buildings as a property manager. They screwed up the delivery time and our food showed up cold. The email exchange with Andrea was unprofessional as she comes off as if she is doing you a favor instead of providing customer service for something you are paying for.
