In the process of getting my helicopter private pilot's license, I have had the opportunity to interface with almost all of Group 3's people over a period of a few months.

They have all been professional and very helpful. Schedules are respected, crafts are well-maintained and reliable, and service is excellent. Peter and Claudia are very experienced and always happy to help or just to chat and check on progress. Alicia is the person manning the office and as such you will most likely rely on her the most. She is knowledgable, efficient and reliable, yet friendly and always happy to look for a solution suitable for you. The instructors have all been great. Although I personally prefer continuity and therefore spent most of my time flying with Ross, it is good to get different perspectives and therefore I have had the chance to fly with and learn from almost all of them. I am now almost done with the ground and flying necessary to take my check ride and would certainly recommend Group 3 for your licensing and leisure helicopter needs.

I have had previous experience with 2 other operators in the context of my fixed wing private pilot license and cannot say the same thing about those shops. Finally, I have encountered the other schools in the air in the course of my flights and in a number of occasions have witnessed first hand the shortcomings of their instructors and flying techniques. We had an amazing Hollywood & The Beach Tour provided by Peter and Claudia! This was a birthday surprise for my fiancé and I could not have found a better company to make it so nice and special. Their small business provides an excellent service and experience from start to finish. They were great at communication right from the first call to book the tour. They made sure to call us and give us some options due to the weather forecast for our original time and date. They were flexible, accommodating and always very friendly. Peter was our pilot and he did an excellent job making sure that our safety comes first and that we had a great experience while being in the sky. He was a perfect tour guide in the sky as he told us so much interesting information and pointed out all the key sights. I booked the Hollywood/Beach sunset tour for my husband’s 30th birthday this weekend and we both loved the experience! I get motion sickness pretty easily so I was quite nervous about this but I took some Dramamine and it must have helped because I had a BLAST with my husband on the helicopter. I had called the office a few days before and spoke with Claudia and Peter and they were both super professional, kind, and informative. They answered all of my questions and made me feel secure about the tour. Peter turned out to be our pilot and he was absolutely great. He pointed out major sights as we flew over them and also pointed out great shots for pictures. We were both in awe of the whole experience. I was definitely shocked but very happy that I didn’t get nauseous. It’s actually less scarier than you think once you’re on the helicopter because it feels like you’re floating (Peter was great at making sure it was a smooth ride).
