Flaming Wonk Chinese Food — Restaurant in Los Angeles

This is the worst Chinese food place ever. The lady in the front was very rude and has no manner and gave me an attitude and a mean look. The food looks cold and has been under the lamp for a very long time. I also saw a fly around the orange chicken. Foods are cooked behind the counter, so I doubt if the foods are well cleaned or fully cooked. One of the reviews stated she almost died eating here and went to the ER for food poisoning. One of the reviews said he got sick for 2 days, so the food must not be clean or not well cooked. Who knows if the cooker washes their hands or not. Another review said they found a piece of metal string in the food. Can you imagine swallowing the metal string?! A metal string can puncture the esophagus and the intestines and can cause internal bleeding. Another review states he went to the ER after eating at this place for food poisoning. Do you want to risk your health eating here? You may get sick and not be able to go to work the next day. Can you afford to take a couple days off? The prices are not even cheap. All the positive reviews here are fake. Bad people working at a dirty shop. This place was already non- compliant with COV-19 measures. No Social Distancing. No hand sanitizers. No one wears mask. Very bad customer service. I decided not to wait and turn around and left. There are literally hundreds of other places I can go to get food in this area. I should not come in at the first place. Terrible customer service. Their price is not even cheap. Will never come back again. Worst place ever. Not easy to find a parking spot as well. This is my very favorite Chinese food place! Extremely good food at an incredibly affordable price. They are SO nice, please dont let negative reviews skew your impression of these people. I've been going here for a long time and they've become very friendly with me, but have to deal with some people who will try to order and not pay but take the food anyways. Once you order and can't pay, they cant put anything back so it's a huge waste of food and money. Yet, they've never complained. The food is always good quality and the portions are HUGE!! I recommend their veggie rolls (let them know at the beginning of your order incase they have to make more!). They always make whatever you want if its low, but nothing is ever low usually. My favorite plate is half fried rice half chow mein, and a double serving of kung pao chicken. My fiance and mom usually both get the orange chicken which they love. I love this place and hope they stay around for a long time :) The inside is super cute too. No seating but it's always been worth standing in line! Just be ready to smell all that good food...

This place is unhealthy but if you work out or are in the process of eating less bad food and starting to work out, or if you want one good meal for the whole day this place is ideal. Every single item I've eaten here has so much flavor it makes the nearby Panda Express mediocre. In fact this place attracts more customers than Panda Express does. The flavorful food, the portions and the price are great for this inflation that we are witnessing. You can feed yourself for $8 and maybe have leftovers or you can feed a family of 4 with $30 here. 4 stars because the dining area is still shut down and you must wear a mask to order food.
