Panorama Park — Attraction in Los Angeles

This park has gone way down hill in recent years. The splash pad which was a very popular place to be in the summer months has been fenced off and under construction for more than 2 years now. I am assuming our city officials kept the money for that budget to themselves; either that or they re-paved a street that didn't need to be re-paved again. There's also a lot of drug addicts and homeless people who take up camp there until the police come around and shoo them away. They are mainly in parked campers/mobile homes which is illegal at schools and parks yet no one seems to care in panorama city. Honestly, I have lived in PC my entire life (including my parents) and we are currently in the process of packing up to sell the home and leave. It is really sad what this town has turned into. I can't even walk my dog around the park without being in fear for not only my safety, but even my dogs since I know one camper keeps a pit-bull chained inside of it. DO SOMETHING...

I came with my kiddo at 2:30 and we mostly had the park to ourselves. Everything was clean and the apparatus looks barely used. The water apparatus is under construction but aside from this there are swings, a tennis court, a baseball field and what looks like a gymnasium. The park is a good size that if you were to run a lap, you'd probably do a half mile plus. There don't seem to be any sketchy people as in other near by parks so that's a definite plus! They have a small parking lots next to the gym but there is also plenty of street parking. As for bathrooms I'm sure they are in the gym but haven't seen any sign. Overall we enjoyed...

UPDATED: 1 STAR TO 4 STARS I recently started going to the park again, I am very pleased with the changes. Can't wait for a safer neighborhood park.

I am very disappointed that our community has allowed this park go into a hell hole! someone needs to step down, and bring in someone that cares about the community. Hardly any kids playing, only transients, litter, and homeless hang around the park. We need more members of our community to come in and help out with bringing back this park to life.
