Giovanni's Tiramisu — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I loved the Cannolis and Tiramisu, very delicious! I was just kind of sad about how my order was handled- I placed the order on 11/22 for delivery on 11/26 since I had an event that day and wanted to share Giovanni's business. I got a last minute text on 11/25 saying they were going to deliver in 30 minutes because they couldn't deliver on 11/26. A bit annoying because I planned on taking the food straight to the event since I didn't have storage space in my fridge. Also, I was at work and wouldn't be able to receive the delivery, but what can you do. When I got home, I double checked the cannolis and realized they had only delivered half, and when I asked where the other half was, he said they didn't have the plain cannolis I requested so he would deliver them on Tuesday. I ended up having to cancel the other half because I didn't need them on Tuesday. At the event, not everyone got to try a cannoli, but those who did loved them, so I have absolutely no complaints about the food. Just wished the communication was...

I ordered 1/2 Tiramisu and one cannoli. I told him I wanted it ASAP and he said pick it up tomorrow at 11 then said at 430. He ended up giving me 2 half tiramisu’s one regular one gluten free (which I thought was tiramisu and maybe his version of cannoli?” Both frozen. Which I’ve never bought frozen tiramisu ever. Then told me to bring them back for a refund. Then texted saying “come tomorrow.” I told him I was already down the street. Then tried telling me when I got there “you didn’t thaw and try them that’s why you came to the conclusion they weren’t good” then when I left texted me saying “you tried the gluten free so I have to see how much I can refund you.” UNBELIEVABLE! Who wants frozen tiramisu that God knows when they were made? I tried being cordial and all he had was attitude. Here are the texts. Giovanni’s is the best. I am such a Tiramisu Snob, and I knew I wanted it for my wedding. After much searching , I found Giovanni. He more than surpassed expectation . The flavors were perfect , it was moist like I love it , and Giovanni is so sweet. He made it point to hand deliver my cake no matter how much I was like I’m sure my husband can pick it up . He is just so sweet. Additionally, everyone who had some at my wedding could not stop raving about it . Asking me where I got the cake .
