Iāve been to several Nordstrom Rack locations, but this one is consistently disappointing. The store feels empty, both in inventory and energy. The lack of stock makes it hard to find anything worthwhile, and the overall atmosphere is dull and unwelcoming. When there are some potential items, the prices are higher.
I placed a pick-up order and received an email confirmation with the pick-up date. On that day, I came in and waited in line for over 15 minutes ā and I was only the next person in line! When it was finally my turn, the employee assisting me didnāt even acknowledge my patience. Instead, I was informed told that my order wasnāt ready. When I asked if the item was in stock, the employee didnāt even check ā I was immediately told no. I felt so stupid waiting in line to have assistance finally and tossed out immediately when it was my turn.
As someone who works in customer service, this interaction was frustrating. There was no effort to be helpful or personable, and I left feeling like I had wasted my time. I deeply understand with the holiday season there are many delays and things not turning out the way it should. However itās not acceptable for customers feel as if their support and money is not valued. I occasionally stop by this location since itās near my gym, but every time Iām reminded of the storeās unwelcoming vibe.
It seems like the employees are just going through the motions to get through their shift, and I donāt blame them. It feels like the store is understaffed, and management is likely cutting corners on hiring and training. Unfortunately, this leads to a robotic, impersonal experience for customers. Which I did and was told her name is there and she shouldn't have been scrutinized the was she was. The store supervisor was called and she instructed the cashier to call and check. Which he did and saw my wife's name there. According to my wife , he had accused her of making a fraudulent card. And she should use cash if she wanted to finalize the purchase. She eventually used her card but left highly upset š”. I called and spoke to the supervisor who apologized endlessly but the damage was already done. One should never be treated like a thief and uncomfortable using an authorized card bearing your name. Simply call card services and verify. No need to ruin anyone's day with uncalled for accusations in front of others. Expecting apologizes to erase the shame and embarrassment a customer went through. What happened to plain old good...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI stopped by this Nordstrom rack when I was exploring NoHo west plaza before a movie. This store is right next to LA Fitness and the parking garage so its convenient. When you walk inside, the mens area are on the left .. the women's are on the right and the shoes are toward the back of the store. The sunglasses and other stuff are next to the entrance. This store had a lot of stuff on display and out when I came. I took a look at some of their belts and ties, the prices were kind of high but it's basically a higher place than Ross. There no self checkout here so you'll have to pay with a cashier. I saw that this place sells luggages and also home decorations...
