We visited the Jack In The Box at 6820 Reseda on today, May 15 2025. I used the app to pay for our order as we sat in the dining room. When I attempted to submit our order, I received an error message: Payment issue-unable to process card, so the order did not go through. However, I checked my bank account and the funds were actually taken out of my account. I went to talk to the manager, Pedro. He said he had no order for us and the charge was just "pending." Not true. I called my bank and was told that yes, the charge did go through but JITB immediately reversed it for some inexplicable reason. We went back to Pedro and this time my husband tried to speak with him. Pedro kept saying that this happens all the time to a lot of people, and that the charge was only pending and would be back in the account in 7-10 days. He also said he could not give us free food. My husband was asking him to give him the floor to speak because what the manager said was unclear and the verbiage he used was difficult for my husband to understand his inaccurate explanation as compared to what the bank informed us of. When my husband conveyed this to him, he flew off the handle and accused my husband of being racist, saying that he was not speaking in Spanish. Pedro started hollering over my husband and shooed us off, saying he was going to wait on other customers behind us instead of addressing our immediate concern. He then slammed his hand on the counter as my husband said he would report his unprofessional behavior and Pedro just retorted that we could do whatever we wanted to. This was not what we anticipated having to endure just by going to JITB for breakfast. I have never seen a manager behave with such apparent contempt over an issue that was not the fault of the customers at all. He was not well informed of the reality that the charge did go through and he did absolutely nothing to ensure customer satisfaction in spite of his lack of knowledge. We are highly appalled and would not refer anyone to visit this JITB location if their lives...
Read moreI’ve nvr experienced such horrible service from a Jack n the Box location before. They must have new mgmt bc I nvr experienced such immature behavior. I order a chicken sandwich and after paying for it, I asked for 2 ranch cups. A completely normal amount of ranch for a large chicken sandwich. They said they have to charge 30¢ for the 2nd one. I asked if I could simply get a second ranch in lieu of me not asking for ketchup. It’s such a petty charge and I refuse to pay for condiments when I’m asking for a normal amount. I’d completely understand if it was a packet of ranch w name brand but it’s not. I was told they had to charge me after I already received my card back. I said that I didn’t want to pay for the ranch but want/need 2 ranches for a chicken sandwich so I asked for a refund. The Mgr issued the refund quickly but when I asked if I could see the receipt he said I could take a picture but couldn’t have it. Understandable bc I didn’t leave w any food. So I simply asked if I could read the refund so I know it was returned. I left next door to get Gyro tacos at Arby’s and when I got home I checked my acct to see if it appeared. I noticed they refunded me less than the charge amount. Literally the difference of the cost for a ranch haha. They obviously did that on purpose haha 😂. Pathetic but funny. It makes sense now why the Mgr wouldn’t let me see the receipts when I initially asked. So I called the location and spoke to a male employee who claimed he was a team lead. I mentioned the issue above that it seriously appeared they refunded less than what I was charged on purpose. He said it was an “accident” but offered to let me speak w a Mgr so I agreed. However, he hung up. He was clearly the person who charged my card the cost of a ranch and decided to hang up. Read moreWow... was impressed. Jack in the Box is one of my go-to for a Taco on the go. For some reason I keep returning hopefully they will get it right! Plus the price does not hurt. Scrap for a buck two tacos for a dollar and change . This time surprised Hi-5. The Congeniality of the order taker was definitely positive and excited to take your order. Noticed when paying there were some adults in the kitchen and was glad to see that Jack in the Box hires seniors. Back to the taco the shell was crispy not greasy like I usually have received them got to say I don't usually finish eating them. The filling was hot inside and the lettuce was so fresh cold and crispy. Adding a couple hot sauces to the Taco was absolutely delicious. Went through drive-thru and it was Swift and easy to grab my order and travel on the road. This may seem so simple but my orders have always required a crispy Taco fresh lettuce and hot melted cheese. This store nailed it!...
