Kanpachi sushi and sake — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I've been here many times when prior restaurants occupied this space. This was the first time trying Kanpach Sushi and Sake.

I got the No. 1 sushi combo. I also ordered the NegiToro HR. ($15)

My wife got some assorted sushi, shrimp tempura, and soup. The Miso soup was amazing, filled with veggies and so good.

I ended up ordering a few more pieces of sushi. It was also high quality and tasty. I appreciated that they make smaller rice nigiri, so there is a better balance of flavors.

Be sure to try try the Abalone, the scallop and the salmon nigiri. Those were my favorites!

Amazing experience!! This used to be sennari sushi, and for the most part it still is. A lot of the staff are the same. The overall decor hasn't changed, but if you have been here before, there was a lot of little changes that when added up, really made for great things!! If you never went to sennari before, this was definitely one of the best sushi restaurants in South bay, and with the new owners and the little changes this place is even better!! I saw this place when I was perusing Yelp, and decided to give it a shot. It was dinner time, and I was starving. So I made the drive over here from home, and fortunately there weren't a lot of people here at the time. I sat at the bar, and ordered two rounds of sushi. The sushi was very delicious.
