Dynasty Inn Gardena — Hotel in Gardena

SECOND ATTEMPT TO POST.

Stayed for almost a week in the end of December 2022 to early January 2023.

PROS: a. Good Prime Location for Gardena City. Walking distance to Market, Grocery, Sams Club, Fast Food like In & Out Burger, Wendy's, Panda Express, and more. b. Parking. There is enough parking. c. The Room Size for a Motel is roomy, it's big for the city size, in comparison to other Motels within Gardena or South LA. d. Very close to the freeway.

CONS:

a. RECEPTIONIST. The receptionist is the owner. He is very rude and I think that on his other behalf, both rarely smile at you and make you feel unwelcoming. There was a lot of miscommunication since the woman [his other half] doesn't communicate English well. If you ask questions about locally, they had no idea or no help at all.

b. SERVICES. Really Bad. On my 2nd & 3rd stay, I requested by phone and in person for housekeeping and it didn't happen at all. I had to put my trash bin outside the room, they remove the trash but failed to put a liner despite I had reminded the front desk multiple times. They get upset when you request clean towel set replacements.

c. THE ROOMS. When I first enter, the bed sheets were uncleaned. I can see hair that the bed sheet has been used. No Microwave. Only a tiny refrigerator with missing parts. The room is nasty, you can see the walls are not being cleaned, the bathtub is dirty. There are cockroaches. The door is broken. The lights are messed up. The curtains were left hanging. See pictures. The Motel Phone is not working at all. You cant call the front desk, you have to walk down. The elevator moves really really sloooowwww, I only used the elevator for unloading my luggage, it's better to use the stairs. The WIFI is very slow. There was no battery on the Remote Control. They used Direct TV. If you bring a console like PS5 or XBOX it will not work with their WIFI.

d. MICROWAVE - if you need to heat up water or need to microwave food, you have to walk all the way downstairs since the Microwave is in the lobby.

I tried to move out on the first day, but I can't, coz I got the package deal non-refundable. So, I got no choice but to stay in.

The daily price of Dynasty Inn motel is not worth the accommodation & services you will have. The owner assumed that they are providing 5 stars but aint at all. Dynasty Inn tries to match the rate of Extended Stay but it is a completely different level of services & accommodation. Extended Stay has a roomier place. It has a living room, a bedroom, and a kitchenette and laundry services within your room. The Extended Stay is less than 1 mile away from Dynasty Inn. Also, the receptionist of Extended Stay are accommodating, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. So check out that place than coming here. Anyway, the price is the same.

Horrible service and Check in. They will try to rip you off if you let them. The prices for booking a regular room is about 80-90 dollars, he tried to charge me 150. I wanted a room with a spa tub, and called ahead of time to check for avalibility and he said there were open rooms. I go there and he tells me there are no more avalible rooms like that, and I asked "what time did you guys run out of those rooms?" He tells me "we dont have those kind of rooms for today." Absolutely the worst kind of experience and when I asked him why the prices differ so much from online he tells me a lie and say it's the weekend rate. I tell him I checked in on the price online for the weekends and it's only says about 89dollars for regular room. Now near bear in mind I'm there with a girl so he knows I wanted the room and thought he could squeeze me for extra dough. I'm asking everything while trying to check in. I was willing to buy the room, filling out the info, even handed him the money already and asking him These questions when he burst out of nowhere when I mention the price difference from online and in person and he tells me to get out. Bear in mind I was not fighting him at all and was being polite the whole time, but the moment I point out his discrepancy he immediately tells me to get out. Absolutely horrible experience and I encourage everyone not to go there. On another note, I had an amazing time at the crystal casino, with a way nicer room and never dealing with any smell. And even better the price is 130 everyday of the week for a king sized luxury room. I suggest you check there before ever going here. Also visitors are allowed before 930pm. No visitors allowed in this place also forgot to mention, the crystal comes with a breakfast service...

OK, if you just need a place to sleep really, cheap and you have no other options, this will do but the staff are sooooooo rude it is amazing they are still in business. It appears they cater to up and coming urban pharmacists, (drug dealers) and so it doesn't really matter how they treat normal, every day people because they get many of those coming in anyway. ||||The pictures look descent and against my better judgement, I booked this place because the deal was just too good to pass up. "If it seems to good to be true,,,,"||When we arrived, there were three different guys checking in that looked like they were making deals and it was too late for me to make other arrangements so I said, well it's so cheap, it will be OK.||Once I decided to suck it up, I was OK, even though the place was dirty until the next morning, (this morning). I was sitting up in the bed, covered by the bedspread as I was not dressed, when there was a knock at the door. I shouted out, "Who's there"? and instead of an answer a man opened the door and shouted check out!||||I was mortified! This was at 11:12 this morning and a few minutes later the phone rang. When I answered a man on the other end began yelling at me stating "No more time"!! I asked what time check out was and the man on the other end stated, "10:30 and it is now 11:15. You are over time, NO more time"!! I asked the man for some more time and stated I needed to pack my things. He yelled back, 5 minutes, that's all!!||||Man, this was a crazy experience, not worth the so called savings at all. Spend a few dollars more and save yourself the humiliation of this "hotel" and these extremely...
