La Cañada Taqueria — Restaurant in Los Angeles

It's rare to find a good bean burrito, anywhere in the Los Angeles area (or in any city).

I don't live close to J&S, Al and Bea's, or Lupe's.

The other day, I got off the bus and found myself at the intersection of Pico and Western and decided to give this place a try.

Note: I had tried their bean burrito about eight years ago when I was living in Mid City. I remember I liked it.

I ordered; got my burrito after a short wait. Took a bite of it. It still had that savory, soft cooked bean taste. Tortilla was on point as well.

$3.50. Tax included.

Will absolutely NOT go back to this place. The service was not bad but the quality of the food was terrible. I paid $ 12 for a carne asada and cabeza burrito and it was more beans and dry rice than meat, the meat was chewy and old. Not to mention the burrito was super small not...

Hole in the wall place with really good asada tacos. Very authentic. It's made to order, i could see the cook preparing right after i ordered. So the meat is freshly cooked not sitting around for awhile. Only issue is that there's nowhere to sit to...
