I haven't exaggerated anything from my experience and will try to remain as unbiased as possible, but aren't you supposed to feel relaxed after a massage? Daughter and mother on a girl's day out. This place had decent reviews and good prices so we came here. Got one combo 30 min feet and 30 min body for $50, then a 1 hr body for $60 (which I beleive have increased from the prices in pictures online of their menu). The massages started okay and got progressively worse. The therapists used a very painful amount of pressure, and when asking for them to use less, they actually used even more pressure saying that we shouldn't be feeling pain. I started tearing up, that level of pain, but I felt pressured to bear through it. After that's finished and we go to pay, I only had a $10 bill for the tip. The staff become visibly upset and claim it should at least be $20 a person, bringing the total to $150. Maybe I could justify that if we didn't leave in pain and actually enjoyed our massages. I protested that amount was outrageous, but my mother and I found ourselves surrounded by the entire staff, 1 woman and 4 men, one of which blocked the doorway. We were harrassed into paying more and it felt like we couldn't leave until we did, I was scared about getting out of there. Luckily my mom found a $20 and the staff took it, all while talking about us in their own language, I can only assume complaining. We both had back pain for the rest of the day and I am waking up the next day with sharp nerve pain depending on how I move. I even have bruising! If the massage therapist doesn't listen to you and leaves you in pain, would you feel obligated to tip? For that matter, that kind of surcharge should really be included in the payment upfront. I hope this helps and you find a better place for...
Read moreAmazing foot massage! I had the 50 minute one for $40. Such a steal. We showed up on a Friday night at around 7pm. They asked if we had a reservation and when we said no, they said it would be a 10-minute wait. They were very nice and since I’m a wimp about pressure, my massage therapist would check in to see if it was too much. They have you dress in a T-shirt and baggy shorts uniform. The first 5 minutes or so were focused on head, neck, and arms, and the rest was feet and legs. We had a long day of walking so finding this place was a godsend. It was so relaxing, I nearly fell asleep.
I think they have a card machine but they prefer cash so make sure to bring! Free parking in...
Read moreThe worst massage I’ve ever had and they said I’m suppose to tip an extra $10 dollars to the masseuse when I wanted to leave after 3 minutes but I was there with a partner. His massage was great because he had a great person giving the massage. I was willing to tip 15% and when they asked me to tip more, that tipped me over the edge where I had to tell them they are lucky I was even willing to give a tip since that was the worst massage ever!! I was being nice by even trying to tip 15% because the man was nice but he should not be massaging anyone. Never go to this...
