Liquid Zoo — Restaurant in Los Angeles

The bartender in my visit there on Friday was lovely - but the karaoke hosts Danny and Hilary were extremely rude and unprofessional.

Danny has extreme anger issues and has zero competence interacting with clients along with his wife. When given feedback that he and his wife were being rude and condescending to the few clients actually spending money there, he completely exploded and verbally attacked/yelled in a very reactive response. Who does that? This is a bar and in customer service, you better have the THICK SKIN to handle feedback. No one made personal remarks, just your poor communication skill.

Advice: Take anger management classes and get out of customer service because it isn’t for you. If you’re unable to be professional and giving appropriate direction/correction on how your equipment is handled, then do not use it.

Or… guess what? Maybe you can give a little direction from the beginning to your patrons. Don’t be disrespectful and threatening your customers with violence.

Avoid this place! Aside from the above, the cleanliness standard is extremely concerning, parking is awful, menu is handwritten which… do I need to say more as to what a bad sign that is?, bathroom has not been cleaned in ages and you walk out smelling like urine.

My wife and I had gone last weekend to check out the liquid zoo for a place to go sing my wife and I don't drink alcohol and so when we went last night the bartender didn't even asked if we wanted something to drink , she said that we didn't buy anything to drink the last time and that we were loitering I'm an upcoming rising Star in the rock and roll world I can pack a bar out and bring a lot of business to a club, I feel sorry for the owner of the liquid zoo won't be able to keep that business with a rude bartender and we bought two cokes which were three dollars a piece my wife gave the bartender $10 and she never returned with the change she assumed that she was keeping a $4 tip for being rude the DJ was scared to death because she told him not to put me on the list, so if the owner loves his bar needs to get someone else to bartend, I've never been more disrespected in my life I think she needs to be fired from her job that's my opinion, sorry to the owner but this is how what was done and it was also done when there was no music playing so we were insulted and disrespected in front of the whole bar people so I won't be back...

The drinks were good but the bartender was rude, the waitress doesn't bring drinks too. You you have to go to the crowed bar and slide into people to order. Then they request a larger tip because the its the bartender birthday,. The place is run down dirty. I was afraid to use the bathroom. The bartender give free liquor into peoples beer bottles at no cost. Which is illegal per ABC liquor license. You can't read the receipt because there no ink but she highlights her tips area.
