On my first trip to LA, I had a lot happen but this place literally turned my whole trip around.
I came in 20 minutes to close with my friends. We ordered 2 chicken quesadilla combos and a chicken sopes combo. It took from the time we got our table, utensils, and some salsa for the food to get chips and salsa (like 2 minutes) and within 3 more minutes our food was ready and at our table hoy and ready to eat. I had the sopes and from the first bite I had it all. The meat, salsa, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, and the great chicken. Each bite was better than the last. I thought it couldn't get better, but then I add some of their (has to be hand made for sure) other salsa and I go to food heaven and back. And 10 minutes to close they start to play some music which just took a great a experience to a grand master parade of fun and food to the next level. We got to dance and enjoy music well after they closed. As we began to wrap up our meal we danced a little more and I fell in love with the joy and love of these guys for great customer service.
Thank you a million for the musical food paradise you gave us Angel, Steven, and Javi. We shall be...
Read moreWhile the "all meat burrito" had ALOT of meat, I have to question what kind of meat they used. As I bite into the burroto, I kept feeling like i was eating a hamburger. There was no mexican seasoning in the burrito, other than onion and pico added in. The meat seemed more like a London broil that was cooked, chopped, refrigerated, and then reheated. I didn't feel like complaining, so i just ate as much as I could until i was holding a tortilla cup full of grease. The next day, I noticed an abnormal amount of flatulence amd severe stomache cramps. Every fart brings my memories closer to that burrito, as I can smell that raunchy meat in the air at home the very next day. I don't know what kind of meat that was, but the smell is haunting me, and my stomach doesn't want it either. What I intended to be a "quick bite" has turned into 2 days of painful l, and smelly gas. They should relocate to the rear of a Chevron so they can have a sign that says "EAT HERE...
Read moreSo good. Its been so hard to find any good Mexican food since I moved here. Was actually pretty shocked at the lack of quality for the area. This place though has definitely been the best one so far. The al pastor, the carnitas AND the asada ALL were outstanding. Most places maybe has one of those really good and the rest just ok but this place was extraordinary. The chunked chicken left a bad impression but the shredded might be better. The rice and beans were fresh and full of flavor. Their complimentary chips were even fresh and crisp. The enchiladas were typical, not bad, but not overwhelming good. I missed the opportunity not being able to try a chile rellano ( I'm on a life long mission to find the best) and the chicken taquitos were heavy and bland. Overall a great place to eat. I'm still impressed with the California tacos. I will definitely be going back to try some...
