Lola's Chicken — Restaurant in Los Angeles

We came with my parents and my daughter (4) of us. I spent over 150 dollars with tip. The food is no bad but they have the worst customer service. No body greets when you enter. No one tells you how to order unless you approach the cashier. She said we could use the self order screen, which I did. Included in the menu were some alfajores. (She never mentioned there was no alfajores, priced 10.99) which I had included in my payment. She came to the table and offer to switch for another dessert they had un the menu. I asked is it th3 same price and she said, kind of. I said, how much? 8.99 she said. For which I said can I get something else to match the same price I paid? And she said we can choose someone cookies. My 13 year old went and chose 2 small packaged cookies( probably not even valued in 0.50 cents). When they served the food they plate on disposable plates(the cheapest ones from stereofoam) I ordered, mix ceviche, anticuchos, lomo salteado plate, chicken sandwich and roasted chicken with rice and beans. I also ordered 4 maracuja juice bottles. The flavor was super sweet so I asked for cups with Ice and water. The girl told me they don't serve water. We had to buy the bottles. I said ok and asked for 2 cups with ice. The plates were so flimsy that you could barely move it or the food could fall of the plate. It was a decent amount of food. At this point we knew they suck at customer service but we had a lot of leftover that we wanted to take home. I asked her for 4 boxes and one bag. She came back with 2. I said do you have smaller? And she said we do have big ones but we don't give more than 4..That sent me!! I couldn't believe what she said. She then turned around and came back with the 4 boxes I previously asked for. I don't know about you, but I don't want to eat in a place that does not care to provide attention when you are spending a decent amount of money in food. Honestly, the worst, most stingy rule I've ever heard. I didn't even asked for more than 4 plates. I asked for 4! Honestly , I wouldn't go back not even for the food! Horrible service, system and stingy restaurant owner. I wasn't asking for free food. Worst experience! This place is canceled for us! I can get similar or better food...

Don’t waste your money here. I ordered the rotisserie chicken 1/4 meal for takeaway and right away things seemed wrong, I tried the fries as soon as I got into my car because they tend to lose their texture with all of the moisture of a styrofoam box. Immediately they were already soggy and wet, not a minute after having come out of the kitchen. Upon inspection further the chicken was pinky and red throughout it looked very undercooked. I ordered a side salad and was given a wrapped up plastic baggie with lukewarm salad dress on top of the salad, the salad itself cooking right by the chicken. Who doesn’t love hot lettuce?

I was so disappointed and ended up just throwing the meal away uneaten. Don’t waste your money...

now this is supposed to be a peruvian place as far as i could read on the wall. their chicken is delicious well marinated with a little kick i noticed they use a lot black pepper. did not wait long it all depends if you go in on peak hrs. the place is small but you don't have to eat there take it home.

now if you go there try the fries with the guacamole salsa. it is delicious also the rice with egg and chicken OMG! AND THEN top it off with the guacamole sauce perfect combo.
