Louisiana Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I was taking the bus to Jim Dandy's from east Hollywood..... fate had it that the bus line ENDED AT THE DOOR STEP!!!! ... I was sure it was fate... went in and got only a snack pack cuz I was still gonna get to Jim Dandys.... it was the best piece of chicken I have ever had!!!!!. Hot and juicy and the crust covered the whole ENTIRE PIECE!!! Great flavor.... great seasoning..... I would have eaten 3 pieces like that no problem. CHEEP TOO..... I went to Jim Dandys..... their chicken failed, FAILED in comparison.... hands down the winner.... OMG. I want chicken now.... damn......

Their fried chicken is some of the best I've ever had. Food is always hot, fresh and seasoned which is why so many people eat here. My only issue is the location. There's always drama/entertainment, from that dirty lady in the wheelchair who's ALWAYS begging for money, or some random guy causing a scene while having an argument with himself. Also, always be aware of your surroundings due to this restaurant being in a gang infested neighborhood. Although there's a lot of good people in the neighborhood, you still need to keep your head on a swivel and don't ever let your guard down...

I saw a sign in the window that reads, "2 PC Leg and Thigh with Biscuit $5". When I go into the drive thru, I'm told that the special in question, is only on certain days. That was annoying because the sign doesn't say that. So, it was the equivalent to "Click Bait". Then, I asked the price for a 2 PC and a Biscuit, and I was told it would be $7 & something. So, I ordered it. When I got the receipt, I discovered that the female charged me for two 1 PC & a Biscuit meals, @ $3.46 each. Go figure.
