Machu-Picchu Peruvian Restaurant — Restaurant in Los Angeles

My friend and I came here as we saw they had good reviews. It was around 12: 45 pm we were starving! There were few customers in the place and the waitress seemed very out of it. The place outside and inside is dingy. They do not spend money on up keeping the face or appearance of the restaurant. We were sitting at our table for awhile 25 minutes and someone behind our table who got there after us were being helped before us. We did manage to get menu's from the waitress on shift. We waited and waited and waited and realized our waitress was never going to come to our table. People families kept coming into the place. We only felt bad for the waitress. We walked out to go to another Peruvian place down the street who had great reviews and turned out to be a better choice! I'm sure the waitress was glad we left. Everything happens for a reason. Would not come back to this place or recommend it. I read another review that stated the restaraunt us always changing waitresseses. Not a good sign. Something wrong there with the management of a place. Also read waitresses are not experienced so this place probably hires inexperienced people so to pay very cheap. Cutting corners. Two...

Delicious food couldn't ask for anything better the ceviche is to die for I tried the mixed seafood ceviche very different from the Mexican ceviche served without tostada and saddled by a steamed potatoes and corn and steamed sweet potato and toasted corn on the other somehow it just worked together beautifully. My husband had a Seafood pariguela it was tasty full of yummy seafood on a thicker broth and for my daughter 3 we got her salchipapas pretty much hot dogs fried with fries and an egg she loved it. All together a beautiful meal the place is very clean and nice. service was great but the catch here was if you can get it. there was a soccer game and I lingered a while trying to get something to drink because my waitress was pulling a one man show trying to take care of everyone while the other was busy recording the game on her phone so that sucked just cause I just had surgery and my meds give me dry mouth. I'm going to be honest, I don't like this place or its location, and have only gone on special occasions. Cons: -They don't have decent veggie-friendly options, just sides. -The place looks clean but doesn't feel like it. The parking is really narrow in the back, the front parking has to be paid, and that's of you get lucky and find a spot. -The inside feels like I've been transported back to the 80's(in the tacky sense).
