Mariscos El Bigotón — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I would give them zero stars if I could. I ordered over the phone & was quoted 15min wait time. I got there about 20 min later & paid. I was told my order was almost ready. I noticed people who were arriving after me & ordering upon their arrival were getting their food before my phone order. I check in with the servers & I was told my order was "almost ready." I patiently waited about 1hr and 20 min than I realized my order was taking too long giving the fact that they didn't seem to be busy. I went to the server a second time and I get informed that they have my order to the incorrect customer. They tell me "can you go tell that guy that he has your order." Excuse me ? You want me to go chase down somebody who you just incorrectly gave my order to. This guy had not only already touched my food but had already placed it I inside his car. I am a registered nurse, there is no way I am going to eat food that someone has already touched especially during a pandemic. At this point I requested a refund. I get denied a refund because they don't give refunds. After waiting for over 1 hr and a half, and giving my order to someone else I deserved a complete refund. Nowhere on their food truck does it state that they do not give refunds. I have never received such poor customer service. The people running this truck are rude and have zero customer service etiquette. After arguing for about 5 min all they can do is remake my order. I stand close enough to see the cook making the order & I realize he is NOT wearing a mask nor gloves? At this point I took the food & threw it in the trash. I do not recommend this place at all. They are not safely preparing/serving food (even with the pandemic we are currently facing) and they do not know how to properly treat customers. Save your time & spare your health,...

Update as of 9/03/24 their Dorado shrimp tacos were burnt and only partially edible. It was like they took days old tacos and refried them again. It was a 5 rating before but today I am not a fan. Their empanadas are barely filled with any shrimp but mostly cheese. What a letdown, what’s the point of having a newer model food truck, if you can’t produce quality food. Step up your game pendejos. if you want good Mariscos, go to Mariscos Estilo De Nayarit/Camarena or Mariscos El Patron.
