Tacos Charly #2 — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Honestly, I'm not sure how this place is still in business. My most recent visit was end of July 2024. I have been here before. I'd say about 10 years ago I was here a couple of time. I love the nachos. But I always felt the staff was rude to me and possibly prejudice sine I didn't speak Spanish. That being said, I stopped going there. Until recently, I seen there were still in business so I thought, things must've changed. Place is a CASH ONLY business. Not up with technology in 2024. That is a bummer, I have to use the ATM at a neighbor business. The place had a total of 4 people in there, including me. It was strange they took forever to take MY order. I placed my order and waited. One of the ladies with dark hair seemed to be bothered as she was cleaning. By what? I don't know but it gave off an awkward vibe in the place. My order was called up. I thank the lady for handing me my food and I grab a small container for my salsa. The dark hair lady (the one with a bad vibe) tells me no, and grabs the container out of my hand and says $4.00. I said no. I thought there is no way I am paying 4.00 bucks for a side of salsa. I asked if they give free salsa since the salsa bar was in the customer area (as well as those containers). She did not hand me the container, instead placed it on the counter as I held my hand out. I want to make it clear after her and I touch that container she placed it back in the bin to be used. Gross!! I can't believe this place is still...

The ladies gave us so much attitude. When we were ordering, the cashier had left to ring in our order before we had even finished ordering. When we had said that we still needed to add more, she gave us attitude and took the rest of the order incorrectly. We said no chile on anything and we got chile on our nachos. When we had explained to them that we had ordered everything without chile, they had said it was our fault for not saying anything. We did, however, and they even got the manager involved because they claimed that we don’t know how to order. They fixed our order but with so much attitude. They just kept staring us down as they were fixing it. This is the last time I come here. They didn’t even pack our food correctly. I paid $32 for them to throw my food around. This food isn’t even worth that much. I basically paid for two nachos, one torta, and a lot...

I called to place an order for pick up at 9:31 pm and the older rude lady answered. I was only 5 minutes away and her response was will you be here soon because we're cleaning to close now. I understand it's getting close to closing time but how she response is so unprofessional. So when the owner and family asks why the business sales are low and complain about street vendors.....here's your answer. Hire people that are willing to work and not family. Me and my family have been loyal customers for over 30 years. You have lost my business. I hope others recognize the same. Plus the salsa bar being closed and the staff is extremely tight with salsas. They used to be amazing....
