On my LAST visit to this McDs STORE 2801 I was disappointed for the last time. There was a few times coming there and getting my food late. I don't know what happened but all McDs staff seem to focus so much on the online orders and the drive thru orders and they seem to not care at all about front window customers. If this is the case then don't open the store dinning rooms at all. They skipped my order and on top of that I had to get regular coffee instead of decaf. Which I know I should wait for some minutes all the time but not 10 minutes! Not only did I have to ask for my order to be done but all that time I was waiting no one seemed to notice someone had asked for decaf. The person helping when I asked for my order started preparing it and asked one of the crew to make the decaf. I saw the package. But when I told her I'll take regular since I was gonna be late for work, then she said "we don't have decaf" I mean the package is right there! Your crew member just brought it out! You just didn't want to make it!
After they finally gave me my order and I finished eating, I asked to speak with a manager. The woman who was helping me the entire time said she was the manager. I told her they should give more attention to people's orders in the front. Because I kept seeing them sending orders to the drive tru and online orders but few orders to the front. I said that was a constant situation and if she could please pass my complaint to her corporate to maybe add more staff that would be a good idea. To which she replied "ok" with a mocking smile. No I'm sorry for the wait, I'm sorry about this experience, we will try to do better, no apologies nothing. I have to add other customers were getting their orders wrong too and they would leave customers waiting for minutes in the front because they are just looking at the screens with their backs turned.
I believe work is a human right and for this reason, my integrity and ethics, do not allow me to name the woman who helped me, or to ask for anyone to be fired in this particular situation. However, to whoever the owner or corporate relations person for this McDonald's 2801 is, please re-train all your stuff on customer service and stop taking for granted the people that buy from you on a regular basis. As for me and my family, we have made a firm vow to not buy from ANY McDonald's again as much as we can help it. I am beyond disappointed on what customer service for McDonald's has become because I worked for them when I was younger and my managers would have never treated any customer the way I was treated, and other customers were being treated that day nor would they have allowed any customer to wait longer than 5 minutes for their order or 1 minute to be helped at the front when requesting a sugar pack or a fork. It is disgraceful. And most of your current employees lack the basic knowledge of customer service interaction and professionalism. I am very disappointed in you as the owner of this McDs and extremely disappointed with the McDonald's corporation overseeing this store. Btw, on Tuesdays your delivery truck 🚛 is always blocking entrance and exit from this parking lot in some way. And I would like to point out that they seem to treat certain people in the community better than others. We are all paying money. Treatment should be the same for everyone....

I’m 0.7 miles away from this fast food restaurant. Jenny the fake very long eye lashes was very rude. She’s a fighter. She told me to calm down. Pretty lady w/ long full fake eye lashes I was calm. Why? It’s a big day today for me. I am celebrating something with my family. Except one of my family is wanting coffee and can’t wait till later for a good breakfast. I come here often though even without my family with me. This specific location is not a good place to order if you’re in a hurry to get to work or anywhere. Don’t bother to order if you don’t want your order to be incorrect. Do not order here if you want your day to go well or start your day with a pleasant day. Order here if you have all day to spend to get it right. The customer who wrote a review about this place is correct. If you want to have argument YES order here. You want to ruined your day because you are suicidal, YES order here. I’m so tired of the manager assigned on this specific McDonalds including fake eye lashes Jenny. They are not wearing their name tag because they don’t want to be identified.
Incompetent staff and management. Very rude and ready to fight two employees manager and one of the staff name Jenny. Jenny declined to provide the hash brown despite the manager's request. She acted deaf. This time the manager. She insisted I say an order that I never did. I have food allergies. I instructed the guy on the drive. I wrote a review because I could not take it anymore. Imagine getting my order almost everyday. I come here on and off thinking they will get it right . Omg! It’s always a missed. They smiled laughed, and apologized sometimes but most of the time they have attitude. I’m a business owner. I understand it’s not easy to hire an employee nowadays. Especially when the government agency hand out money easily. I am hoping the company owner will read this review and try to pretend as customer including their family. That way you will know about your employees.
I will only come here if I am starving to death. I will drive 5-20 miles just to go to other McDonalds restaurants. I love McDonalds. From now on, avoid coming at this specific location. Read moreGenerally I like McDonald's for what it is. I know what to expect in regards to food. The staff can be pleasant. Lately, however, the administration here, (payment and ordering) has been...Difficult. About 90% of the time I order on the app to make things easier. Half the time my order is incorrect. Minor things such as sweet tea instead of unsweetened, when they have it, not to mention issues with soft serve ice cream if they have it or putting onions on a burger when specified zero on the app.
Today while in drive thru during lunch, the ordering and payment software went down. It went from ordering and paying with a credit card online, to reordering / pay with credit card at the window to having to pay with cash and not receiving the promo points. A quick look in the rear view had 10 cars in line.
Update 7/6/24... I was very surprised to see this McDonald's is now charging for bags. Where are we supposed to put the food, in our pockets? I can only imagine a family of 4 ordering. They would have no choice but to pay for the bags. With all the negative press on how much McDonald's charges for food in the news, I'm very disappointed this is used to make money. I understand the new wage scale in California is troubling for ownership but to nickel and dime the consumer (literally... 10¢ per bag) this is a bad way to bring people that are having problems making ends meet back into the fast food restaurant. If McDonald's is relying on this to make up a short fall in profits, you're being ripped off for flimsy paper bags. At least in most supermarkets, bags, while optional...
