This McDonald's has been around forever, but I can't say that I had ever gone to this location. I simply passed it while driving on the main thoroughfare, Crenshaw Blvd. Folks, back in the day, you simply were not living if you didn't drive down Crenshaw Blvd. where you'd find restaurants, stores, comedy clubs, fine dining, all encompassing shopping and a cultural mecca! Seriously! The commuter train right through Crenshaw Blvd. changed that. It whiped out everything! Anyway, thankfully, McDonald's survived this major train project. Sadly, many businesses that made Crenshaw Blvd. so historical and important, did not. That story is worth investigating. Anyway, when I pulled into this smaller McDonald's lot, it had plenty of parking. It was during rush hour. I didn't wait long in the drive-thru. My order was taken, prepared quickly and handed to me with all the condiments I would have asked for to have a splendid breakfast! Folks, they were even generous with the napkins!! What a pleasure! Anyway, this McDonald's should be a model to other McDonald's for efficiency, speed of order processing and cheerful customer service! On another note they may be of interest to people who design workable spaces and or understand the architectural challenges of designing both a space that functions efficiently and also allows for safe entering and existing the premises with posing a bad auto accident and/or disrupting traffic, this McDonald's planned well! I can appreciate that because in addition to proving quality products and services, it provides an assurance that you don't have to take your life into your hands to quickly get in and out. Others should consider the impotence of this when planning an establishment because it can make or break a business. Finally, both my Aunt and I enjoyed the food so much, we didn't leave anything for the next day!...
Read moreOkay so basically the food I had ordered it and I was trying to catch the bus so I paid and ran out by accident. This one was on me. I came back like 15 minutes later and they had my food ready for me so I was glad that they didn't forget about me. I had ordered a chicken sandwich with some regular chicken nuggets with some fries. Why in the world did I get spicy nuggets with a burger? I did not order that but I was hungry so I ate it but I was just like so mad that they got my order wrong like damn. How'd you mess that up so bad like what but I still ate it. It was fire though. And the lady at the cashier. She was so nice. There was even some girls that were being rude and yelling and disrespectful and she kept her calm and her cool and I'm so glad I'm so proud of her cuz you know I would have popped them people very much. So yeah, service five stars atmosphere. Three stars because of the people and I don't feel safe there low-key but that's probably just me being paranoid or whatever. And the food food four stars cuz they low-key mess on my order but it was still good and I ain't even too mad about it cuz it's Low-key the same price and it is what it is. So...
Read moreI preferred this location because the food is usually always hot. What isn't ok is rudely rushing customers. Especially when it's nowhere near closing time and no cars in line.
I lowered my rating because of my experience today. One person started taking my order, and even though they didn't sound enthusiastic, they were not rudely rushing me like the second person who just cut in to take my order.
To "Wendy", as a fellow customer service worker, I know it's not easy dealing with loads of people. But just because you have lots of customers doesn't make it ok to make any person feel like they are bothering you by placing their order. If you're a manager, that's not the kind of example to show your employees because they will behave poorly towards customers too. Telling a person, if you don't like your job, then quit is rude, but it is even more rude to make a person feel invaluable just because you're in a rush. We need to be grateful and thankful to have jobs, and if we don't like our job, it's our responsibility to leave it, not take it out on...
