This business must have someone answer their phone for take out orders. The purpose for calling ahead is to prevent the long wait upon arrival. I experience the worst service ever on a rainy Friday morning. I called for two hours and each time the line gave a busy signal. No one never answered the phone. From 7am to 9am the time I arrived. Once I arrived and asked why a business of such would keep their phone constantly on busy they replied “we are very busy” well my thought if you are that busy Hire someone to take phone orders so that you are able to give “better customer service”. Once I arrive and placed my order I waited waited and waited. People begin to pour into the door each getting more and more upset for the disorganization of the staff. As I watched what was taking place it was obvious that the main concerned was collecting the Money from guest who previously eaten rather then getting the order of take out customers and seating of eat in customers. Once (30minuets later) I expressed my concerns to manager Victor then he begin to seat the people who were eating in. IHOP you should be Ashamed for giving us poor customer service. This is only happening this way in the Inner City at the Baldwin Hills Mall. Why can’t we get better service ? Our dollars are just as Green.! The...
Read moreService:5/5! Food:I ordered a steak and eggs with hashbrown and a side of buttermilk pancakes (3ct) Beverage: mango lemonade/ a glass of water. And they have a variety of condiments.
Side note: this location does NOT serve more then 2 syrups at a time . *Maple and strawberry * were their only options. I say this because the establishments selling point is breakfast but most importantly " Pancakes. So,if that's your thing,I'd say ask if they carry any other flavors. Menu: is kinda scattered about. Service: very kind and attentive. Waiting time varies. Small groups 2-3are seen quickest. Larger groups 4and ⬆️ longer Brunch and before I believe they don't use the whole floor. So,you might notice one side completely free and wonder what's up. Atmosphere: is rather dull.no special lighting or interior flair that catches your eye. The design does have a somewhat panoramic view point which showcases the street sidewalk and traffic. But the placement of the building unfortunately has its small drawbacks in the allure department. Reguardless, I enjoyed the meal for what it was...hot,tasty and filling. The hostess/waiters were very kind and gave a homely feel which I feel saved this lil spot a warm corner in my community dives. Over all...
Read moreThis particular IHOP has a discriminatory vibe which is sad, being that it’s in one of LA’s most affluent black neighborhoods, however if you’re not Hispanic you pretty much have to fend for yourself and struggle to get service, if at all. In my case, I visited this morning, had to ask to be seated (which was not the worse, they appeared overwhelmed and busy, I get it). However once I was seated, servers repeatedly walked by my table without acknowledging, or even saying hi, barely looked my way, yet warmly attending to the tables around (mostly Hispanic families) After about 10 minutes (still no server came over) I saw a Hispanic couple be seated near me and IMMEDIATELY a carafe of coffee was brought to them by a server and the server warmly greeted them speaking Spanish, I was beyond shocked. Then I looked around and saw the hiring practices also seem to be discriminatory and lack amy other ethnicities than Hispanic people. Like I said if you’re Hispanic, great place! If not, there’s much better places you would feel more welcomed! (I went to PANN’S on La Cienaga, warm service and better food and they busier)! This location SUCKS in...
