McDonald's is McDonald's. They are one of the largest fast food chains in the world so their food and quality remains the same based upon the region of the world they are located and their local sources. What can and usually does change is how fast they service their customers and the cleanliness of their facilities. For this particular McDonald's it was how fast their service was that took a hit. I had an appointment in that area that day and had not had a chance to eat lunch beforehand. I had to drive from Hollywood to West Hills and traffic along the 101 freeway should always be taken into consideration. I decided to travel first and if I still had time, then stop at McDonald's for a quick bite before my appointment. Believe it or not, I ran into very little traffic and arrived in West Hills with 20 minutes to spare. I decided to stop at McDonald's but also decided to order through their app and grab my food to-go. That way I could eat as I drove the additional mile and a half of need be. I placed my order for a 10 piece chicken nugget value meal right before arriving at the restaurant and once I got to the restaurant I went inside to pick up my order. There was only one cash register open and a line of 5 people waiting to order so I figured my thinking to order in advance was a good idea. I could see my order number on the TV display above their pickup window listed as being prepared. There were three other orders in front of it but this is McDonald's and they are experienced at making multiple orders at the same time so I was safe on my time remaining (or so I thought). Obviously this McDonald's could not put together more than one order at time because it took over 8 more minutes for them to finally serve my order. All of the other orders placed after mine were piling up on the display after mine except for one which turned out to be for an ice cream cone which the person working the cash register filled immediately. I ended up frantically trying to eat as much of my order as I could while driving to my appointment and looking for parking. I made my appointment on time but no thanks to McDonald's. Seeing as how I had placed my order a few minutes before arriving at the restaurant, they had over 10 minutes to fulfill my order. Over 10 minutes to fulfill an order for a 10 piece chicken nugget value meal is rediculous. That does not meet my expectations of what fast food should be. COVID-19 be damned. If they were short staffed that day then they should have called in other employee's and management should have stepped up and filled the positions they were short themselves. This was obviously not done and therefore this McDonald's suffers from bad...
   Read moreWish I could rate 0 stars. I been coming to this McDonald's for YEARS. I don't ever want to come back again after what happened tonight at approximately 10:20pm on 8/27/19. I drove my car up to the speaker and didn't hear anything so I said "Hi how are you doing". A guys responds "Hi how can I help you". I then respond "Hey hows it going" . The guy doesn't respond. I then just state "Can I get 2 McChickens please". The guy then says "what"? I then raise my voice so he can hear me and I say "Can I get 2 McChickens please. Fast forward I come to the last window. The guy comes to the window. I say "You didn't hear me when I said how are you doing?" He said "I did". I say "How come you didn't respond". He says "Why you want me to respond?" I say yah " Its part of good customer service". He then says "How are you doing today (With Attitude). Keep in mind this guy raised his voice and was giving me attitude. He then says "I'm just here to take your money and give you your food". I then said oh "really? thats all you are here for ? Who is your manager?" He says "I'm the manager" Then I say let me speak to another manager. I explained the whole situation. At the end I didn't want the McChickens AT ALL! No way in hell would I eat anything from that place after that kind of service!    Read moreOMG I went to this location because the other locations are not that clean .so I thought that this will be a really good one. Because It was located next to my old neighborhood! Guess what it was becoming a nightmare. I ordered my food and I soon as I went to the second window there was this African-American girl that wanted to give me ice cream and I said thatâs not my order but I did not say it in a bad way. I just wanted to let her know donât make a mistake and guess what she turned around and she told me why are you rude. I swear to God, I wasnât even rude. Honestly, fast food and restaurants are becoming my biggest nightmare. managers incorporate donât do anything. I used to work at a jewelry store. Guess what if a client walks in and I donât say hi. I would get her write up right there. these days no one even care nobody even care that how you feel and how they make you feel. manager from this location I swear to God he was so busy that he was not even about to go up to that girl and tell her what the heck is your problem this is just ridiculous. nobody cares these days.
