Mi Carbonero #3 — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Pupusas were amazing, service was meh. We waited a good 45 min for our food to come out and they messed up on our order when it did eventually get there. The restaurant was almost empty but did notice that they had about 3 orders for pick up. We were a bit upset when they seated some people about 30min after we were there and there food got to them before ours was even out, not too sure what happened there. When our food did eventually show up, we got no apology for waiting so long or even messing up on the orders. We wanted to order more pupusas but never ordered because we didn't want to end up waiting another 45min... staff was polite when they did show up at our table, but communication as to why the food was taking so long...

If I can give a no star rating i would. This place is so unprofessional really bad service and Marisol needs a attitude check they need to re do job interview because she has a problem she talks back to you she doesn’t refund the order if it’s wrong and it’s her fault. I bought twice here once I went and wanted two charamusca and asked for vanilla flavor and she said gave me the wrong order I told her this isn’t what I ordered can I change it and she said no because I touched it when the product wasn’t open. She didn’t even give me my money back she kept it even tough I left the product. So horribly bad experience don’t waste your time, money on...

I have spent almost half my life in the kitchen cooking professionally. I have read the reviews and there seems to be a lot of concern over how long the food takes. If you want fast Mexican / Latino food you always have Chipotle, Baja Fresh or Taco Bell. You won't have to wait at all plus they come gift wrapped. If you want good food that is cooked to order (which explains the wait), then come here. I have never had fried Tamales but will be back for them soon.
