Not a pleasant experience had a DoorDash pick up for two separate customers. The first order I had to read out the 4 items or so from my phone (Keep in mind this is my first time going to this place) I was not sure of the combinations and that certain add-ons such as guacamole were added after you receive the order. I did explain to the lady from the cashier I was with DoorDash and had two pickups for 2 separate customers (I specified names). I understand they are busy but she clearly could give a flying expletive that I was trying to read off these items for the first order and struggling since it was a bit confusing. The face of disgust this lady gave as I tried to read out the items and no help what so over as I stumbled through the items. It felt like I was taking up their time and I was doing them an inconvenience, by placing the two orders which each totaled closed to one hundred dollars worth of food. Second order was a bit easier but according to the cashier the client had placed the order already so it was a matter of picking the items up, no need for me to place the order again. Well the info did not say that on the DoorDash app, plus I did explain I was with DoorDash picking two separate orders and specified the names of the client for both orders (not sure how that info was not enough to avoid placing the order again). It would help if this place had its own section and it was not connected to a busy gas station and next to a car wash (which might be connected to the gas station as well). It clearly is popular enough and the personnel are quite busy and overwhelmed to the point they easily get frustrated with a customer. Parking was terrifying, since the restaurant is located in a gas station which also shares a car-wash and the limited parking space plus the number of vehicles fueling up made it impossible to find any spot. I hope to avoid scenarios such as this...

Parking can be rough depending what time a day, but it's worth it.
They were a little off their game today, mixing up a little bit of my order. But it's okay though. I still like the place. The burritos used to be better a few years ago, but even the negligible decline is still better than some of the other burritos in the area.
$14 or so: Today I opted for the Carnitas burrito, basically roasted pork. Absolutely delicious! What I like is the fact that they do give you a lot of meat, so it's not just all beans and rice.
I say they were a little off their game, because it took an unusually long amount of time to get my order. Bordering on 25. Usually it's around 10 minutes, maybe even less. And they really weren't that busy either. Maybe training new staff? Not sure exactly what was happening.
A few years back, they used to have a full-blown salsa bar in the middle of the dining area. Now it's just down to jalapenos, radish, some other random toppings. But I wish they would bring back the salsa bar!
Anyways, yes, the parking is rough. There's only about 6 or 7 spaces dedicated to the convenience store, which also carries over to the burrito place. So you're fighting with people that are pumping gas, going inside to get a beverage or something, and then having to deal with the people that are there just for the burritos or the tacos or whatever.
This place does kind of remind me of those midwest, and Deep South spots that are tucked inside of a gas station. That's exactly what this is. The food is great, the guy behind the counter taking your order is great too. I just don't know what happened with the line Cooks on this particular day. But don't let that hinder you. You'll have to experience it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI want to start by saying I never leave reviews. I mean no disrespect to the owners but I was hearing a lot of great things about this place, so naturally, I was a little disappointed when it did not live up to expectations. Firstly, I ordered A Carne Asada burrito and I asked to add cheese. I specifically said I did not want cotija cheese but instead would like shredded cheese because I donāt like Cotija cheese. After waiting a few minutes, my name was called and I picked up my order. I drove home and was excited to eat this burrito as soon as I bit into it a giant gob of Cotija cheese was front and center then proceed to eat my burrito extremely carefully trying to avoid the cottage cheese because of how much I dislike this type of cheese. I feel like after spending almost $20 for a single burrito. I would expect my order to be made to my request. The burrito in my opinion, also lacked a lot flavor with cumin being the main seasoning that I taste throughout the burrito. I would love to give this place a second try and maybe order something that the employees recommend or something thatās popular among customers, but Iām hesitant to do so because Iām I donāt want to have the...
