Strange name but delicious sushi. We stopped in yesterday for an unplanned Sunday dinner and we were both really impressed with Oops! It’s situated in the corner of a small strip mall in a quiet part of Sawtelle. Parking in the parking lot can be a bit tricky because the spaces are small and close together and it was completely full when we arrived for a 6 PM dinner but we were able to find neighborhood parking on the block next to the strip mall. We were seated right when we arrived and had a great dinner at the sushi bar. I was really impressed with all of the options on the menu and the pricing is very fair compared to other sushi spots close by. As always, we got a mix of items and shared everything. We started off with the Miso Soup, which is something I order all the time, next came the Softshell Crab, which was terrific. It wasn’t over fried and still had the great soft shell flavors and I would highly recommend ordering it. Next, we shared the Yellowtail Sampler, and it was a perfect amount with four pieces of yellowtail nigiri. Finally, we split three rolls: the Barrington, OMG, and Oops (I Did it Again). All three were really delicious, but our favorite was the OMG roll. It was packed with different fish, basically a new take on the Rainbow Roll. Everything was prepared with a lot of love and came out very quickly, so it’s the sort of place that you can dash in and out or stay a while with friends, family, or a date. It’s fairly small on the inside, but in a cozy way. Definitely will be back in the near future to try more items and would recommend to anyone else who is a sushi fan to do the same.

This is, by far, the Best Sushi Bar on the Westside with Premium Quality Sushi at affordable prices. Daily Happy Hour Specials which end at 7pm. Sunday is All Day Happy Hour Menu! "D" the manager/owner is amazing and the Sushi Chef's are incredibly skilled! The Chef's are young, extremely creative and they even have great personalities! Bonus! Spend $50, get $5 off Oops Card. This pic was a special birthday roll made just for me with edible garnish and on the house! 😘 They always make me feel special everytime I come! Ps. Been eating sushi for over 30 years! Hope this helps! Tell them Tina T sent you! Enjoy! 🍣🍤🍣

Unexpected gem. The lemon roll was crazy fresh and the seared albacore sushi was the highlight (not pictured because we gobbled it instantly). Fish quality was good and nigiri sushi was not skimpy/over-riced. Would note that, while there was actually easy parking, there's not a lot of seating outside if that matters to you. That said, we had no issue getting an outside table with swift service on a Thursday night. They also still had happy hour running from 6-7pm.

First of all, the main issue with Oops is finding a parking spot in their very limited parking lot. They share the lot with two or three other restaurants and a handful of other businesses and small strip mall and it's at the corner of a very busy intersection on Gateway and Barrington so It's Tricky navigating in and out of this lot if and when you can find a parking spot. That's sad, oops is a pretty nice affordable sushi spot to come and relax and have a meal that's prepared with care in a very efficient and quick way. They have a group of chefs who care about what they're doing, seating is limited it's a small place but you will have someone taking your order as soon as you sit down with a smile, and you're very likely to enjoy your lunch or dinner. We frequent Oops, and it's normally very clean, we were there yesterday and the men's room needed some attention, but I'm sure they'll take care of that. They have a pretty decent vegetarian selection, the seaweed salad and the sizzling tofu is...

NEVER EAT HERE!!! I went here for me and my girlfriends 6 month anniversary to get some teryaki bowls. I ordered some California rolls and they were delicious along with the food but that night I was sweating so much and couldn't sleep at all. I woke up the next morning having the chills, fever, headaches, and very bad sore throat. I took a look at my throat and I had sores all over the back of my throat and I researched it and found what it was. I have Herpingina, it's a virus that makes it nearly impossible to swallow, (causes all the symptoms above) and leaves you with no appetite. I haven't ate for 2 days now due to how much pain...
