Panda Express advertises a 10% senior discount on their corporate website. Twice I was refused by a very rude employee, AMY. I visit this restaurant once a week. When she is not working, the 10% is not a problem with other employees. Tonight, I ordered my meal and was waiting on shrimp that was not ready. While I waited I saw AMY go over to another employee standing near the register and whisper something to him. He looked up over the register at me. When my order was ready, the employee Lynn called me over to a register that was not being used and out of the regular line to pay. I asked for my 10% senior discount. He refused. It was clear that she had told him to refuse me the discount. I told him that I come in every week and always get it. AMY then re-appeared and told me NO. She said it is given out of common courtesy and she refused because of my previous experience with her. My previous experience was asking for my senior discount and informed her of your policy. She still said NO. I asked her if she was the manager and she said she was training and that the manager was on break and would not be back for 30 minutes. I left. Without my food.
My issue is not so much about the food as is with this employee. I contacted Panda Express corporate the last time this happened and they told me that the senior discount was in effect. I guess the fish rots from the head down and if this is an employee, AMY, that is being trained for management, then your business is in trouble. You really need to take your reviews seriously. The way I was treated last time and tonight is no way a senior wants to be treated. Shame on you if you continue to employ her. I won't eat there again because I don't deserve the feeling that I had when I walked out of there. p.s. The discount would have been about $1.50. What kind of employee would be...
Read moreYour food is really good I really liked, what I don't like is a your service you got something like that I see on all Panda Express of all Southern California especially when it's launch time, supposedly that's the most busy time when the restaurant has to have a lot of food to serve people but every time when I go there there's no food and you don't tell people order and they say okay you have to wait 10 minutes is that okay?, it's not okay it's not okay I got no ootions, I have to wait but that is really inconvenience that happen all the time they're Chefs waiting to cook the food until they see the pan container empty. on my opinion, the way that I see it the food has to be ready, at least At Least in launch time so people dosen't has to wait example, today at soonest we get here it was like 6 people in line and inmetialy I noticed that was No more chaw mein, no more rice, no more walnut shrimp, and Angus steak almost gone and all those people has to wait and me. but I don't know, I guess it's the way that you work, the way that you provide the service to the customer. But honestly it is very very inconvenience I really don't like it a mean I just don't understand, just don't understand and this is on All Panda's...
Read moreThis Panda Express is OK, but it's a little bit crowded, and the entry is somewhat strange because when you walk in, you pretty much wind up in a line immediately after you come in the door, since the setup with the entrees and the servers is only about 10 feet from the door. The service seems a little slow here, and the first server asks each patron if they want to sample something, rather than let the patron tell them if that they want a sample. So, that eats up a little time in and of itself. The food is fine, though, so I don't really have any significant complaints. Parking is easy in the large lot, and there is a Starbuck's a few doors away, as well as a Chase Bank next door in case you need to get money to go and have a Panda Express meal and/or a cup of Starbucks coffee or tea...
