New taco shop, but don't let that scare you away. This place is good! the menu is straight to the point; Tacos, Quesadillas, Quesatacos, Birria, Mulitas and Consome (think of it like Dip for your tacos..i know so gooooooood!) + Churros! There is only a walk up window, and the menu is on the wall. Staff is super friendly and attentive! Its a taco stand so as expected the seating/eating area is small but its has the neighborhood feel so it fits perfectly. i had the OG to start, it has all their food items in one plate and after i picked out my favorites and then got a churro for dessert! food items are coated in a sauce, then placed on the grill which gives it a unique flavor, topped with birria, cilantro (& onions if you're into that sort of thing), avocado and cheese depending on the item. churro was crispy on the outside and had a soft center, reminds me of churros sold at stands in Mexico. All freshly made in house. If you are still reading this, stop, get in your preferred mode of transportation and head down to have some yummy tacos!

Birria wasn’t a thing when I lived in LA and over the last couple years it has been popping off everywhere in town. I travel back for work and have been trying these places slowly. I am no birria expert but I do like the flavors. I ordered online super easy, was ready at the time It said it would be. I ordered the OG Burrito. I did have some concerns of how I would eat it. Would it be soggy? Would I have to eat the burrito with a fork and knife? The answer is Nope! The burrito was definitely a handheld thing which was great! I believe it was beef and think it needed the consume hopefully I spelled it right. I dipped, spooned and even drank out of the little to go cup. The combination is good but without the consume the burrito was just a burrito. The meat inside was lacking a little flavor in my mind but the consume made up for it. That’s why I rated 4 stars. I would for sure return, and order it again!

I found Papi tacos on ig and made sure to go try when I went to visit Cali. I placed my order and excitedly waited 30 minutes for my mouthwatering tacos. While the taste was everything, the portion was extremely disappointing. For $3.50 each, I expected full sized tortillas/tacos and instead recieved "taquitos", pretty much almost the size of what you'd get from the 7/11 hot food section. Just a heads up for all the foodies wanting to give this joint a try. Taste is amazing, portions are very small.

The food here is very good and well made, the main issue is if you order from this place for delivery or pick up - They will short you... I ordered four questacos that were supposed to come with dip already and payed for an extra dip at 4 dollars. I recieved one small container of consume, not even enough for two of the tacos. They also left out the avocado, despite having it advertised in the menus. It was really a meal worth less than 10 dollars that I ended up paying 22 for.

Otherwise, I really want to like this place. I've ordered from them when they first opened and its sad to see the quality they put out now for online orders. Sad to say I won't be ordering from this chain again. Great food, bad service.

Avoid ordering from this place on any app if you can. It's better to go there and verify that they give you everything...
