Restaurante Y Pupuseria El Maná — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Went with some friends on a Sunday night. I didn’t see any parking for them, but luckily we found a spot around the corner. The people that attended us were very pleasant and polite. We ordered a lot of food and there was a wait for it to arrive, but totally worth it. We ordered tacos, pupusas (perfect amount of filling), orden de plátanos con frijol y crema (easily my favorite dish that night), pan con pollo, and a breakfast plate. Everything was delicious and super savory. We paid with card so I’m not sure why people mentioned cash only. Definitely a yummy...

Carne Asada 8/10 very nice portion size. they had beans, rice, lettuce, onions (amazing), some vegetables and the carne Pupusa (10/10) the chicken was amazing!! So flavorful. Also got the steak and regular and they were so so amazing. It came with some sort of tomato base soup which tasted so delicious and some fermented vegetables. The wait was a little long, 25 min, but you know it’s real then. 10/10 would eat here...

Hands down one of my fav, hole-in-the-wall pupuserias. Eating in is okay but they’re not about the dine-in experience. It’s small and uninspiring inside but the food is great. I never had anything I didn’t like, and the pupusas are 👌🏼. This is my comfort food place.

Also yes, mainly Spanish speaking so if you don’t have the language be prepared to point at the menu.
