I must say this Chicken is the most addicting! The best juicy, moist and flavorful chicken I have ever had. This spot has been sending that nice mesquite smell for years. I finally stopped by on a Friday afternoon, the cook was busy grilling those chicken orders as fast as they were being placed.
The Ladies in the Kitchen were so attentive and friendly. I ordered the #8/2 chicken combo with a large order of rice and beans, choice of 2 medium size salsas and tortillas mix of corn and flour.
The chicken was so juicy with every bite, you can literally shred it off the bone.
The rice was nice and fluffy beans were whole from the olla with a hint of chile but not spicy.
The green tomatillo salsa was so delicious also the red chile de arbol was a little bit more spicy but delicious when mixed with beans and chicken!
This was a meal for 4 people and still had leftovers. The next day, the chicken tasted even better after reheating it. The price we paid for the meal was way less than other chicken chains.
It was so addicting that we ended up going back on Sunday but this time I called to place the order and it was ready when I got there, less...
Read moreI can't complaint about the chickens. For a family of 4 this place is great and with an entire chicken (not including rice) at $15.99 we all eat and there are leftovers sometimes. The chicken itself tastes great, the rice a little bit on the salty side and the steak too. The rice is $4.50 for the large container and the steak is $3.75 per steak. I think the steaks are somewhat expensive, and while I do like them at the moment, they always leave a salty taste afterwards for me. This is a place I use from time to time when I don't feel like cooking a full meal. I wouldn't eat there if I were you, because of the smoke coming from the grills, but I would definitely go to this place if you want to take food home. Everyone will enjoy it and you can't beat the prices. Like I said, my only complaint is the bit of excess of salt and the...
Read moreWanted to check this place out for awhile now since I always pass by it and smell the mesquite smoke while driving by. I ordered the #6 plate which comes with a 1/4 of a chicken. I ordered the picosa which is slathered with spicy sauce after cooking on the recommendation of one of the reviews. I have gotten regular as well. Both hit the spot
It also comes with a side of beans and Spanish rice, 2 containers of salsa (red or green) and corn tortillas. The chicken was full of flavor and the spices kicked in. It was moist and not dry in the least bit. The sides were also very delicious. Very affordable and worth the price. It is very filling if you finish the whole plate. One of the best Mexican chicken spots I’ve tried. 4 stars for the wait time and forgetting to call my order #. Call in to place an order if you want to...
