City Of Angels Restaurant And Banquet Hall — Attraction in Los Angeles

A day that my sister work so hard to not only provide for my niece's sweet sixteen to be memorable and beautiful but also for her guests.but then to find out that some were saying we give such a bad service to our guests, I think no one would like to hear that from you family and friends , it wasn't in our hands we really try everything we could. This is a beautiful hall dont get me wrong but how they say ,not everything that glitters is gold and that's it exactly what it was. The reason that I'm giving only one start is because I couldn't give less ,no options for that because they don't deserve it. 1.contract say valet was provided ,it never said anything about being 10$ dollars .the valet parking was by a boy around 15,16, years old ,nothing wrong but I would prefer someone with more experience. You think your car is going to be ok but to find out at the end of the event that your car had a flat tired is not acceptable. 2.The waitress lady's ,didn't provide water when we ask them some didn't know what we were saying and ask to talk to the manager it was annoying. 3.Beer that was not provide by them that my sister pay to give out at the party was giving out hot really!! 4.The air conditioning was turn off and on and we hot beer no one wants that. 5.The restroom were dirty and water was also cut off, my husband had to wait for almost an hour to use the restroom but he couldn't because the water was off. 6.I think water was clogged because it was coming out in the dancing floor I put a table on top so our guests couldn't fall.I ask one of the waitress to clean it up she did but water was still coming out so they just leave it as it was.it was not a pleasant view. 7.Some of our guests was asking for food which my sister ask then like more than 3 times to provide food for them but every time my sister passes our guests were saying they haven't eat.this is not acceptable.

We had a bad experience and so our guests I really can't blame them, my sister had to apologize to all of them and that she did everything she could,it was a bittersweet day. This place has so much potential is beautiful but if you guys keep giving this type of service every time, your business as a hall rent provider won't last long ,You guys are being pay please provide for what is being pay you guys let my sister handle the situation as she could and couldn't do much because you guys didn't care.such a bad experience and bad service I would never...

This place deserves no stars. Over 9000 was payed for this hall for what the contract said 300 people , food, drink, servers , security, parking. None of that I received . The bathrooms didn’t work they would turn of the water. As well the AC. The food taste nasty we had 26 tables 10 guest per table for that they had 4 waiters that didn’t even speak English well 3 of them were elderly. The beer that we brought to Serve our guest where given hot. I had a guest complain that one of the waiter was feed with him asking for beer she brought him a pan for him and threw it at the table. The 300 guest they where counting children as well. After we reach 300 accordingly them they wanted to charge 35 per person. And when guest left he was still not letting people in to replace the head count. They is no parking it’s 10 to valet park and get your car park by a 15 yr old . To make this worst we had to call the cops after being assaulted by a stranger, when I asked the owner where are the security that y the way we never seen none all night all he said was I send him home. Customer service is horrible! I attended a wedding reception here and used their valet service (with my rental car!). At the time everything was fine, until i receive a charge from the rental company for a parking ticket that i supposedly received RIGHT IN FRONT of their banquet. So not only did they cause me to get a ticket, they obviously knew about it and removed the ticket from my car when they brought it back to me. When I called the banquet hall they told me they would happily reimburse me the full amount if i sent them a copy of the receipt, so I paid the $95 ticket, plus the $30 charge from the rental company. I then sent them a letter including the receipts, and never heard from them again. I called for months and they would just keep transferring me back and forth between people who all continued to say i would be reimbursed. They eventually stopped answering my calls all together.
