Savory Pho — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I stopped by here with my sister family last night after my nephew basketball practice. It was a great choice because the weather was cold and the place was nearby. There are tons of parking here so you won't have any issues because it's in a Amazon Fresh plaza. When we walked in, we were seated right away and given the menu. I got the Beef bun me, my nephew got the chicken pho and my sister got their bun bo hue soup. The pho and soup came out quick, my bun mi was the last dish to come out. I really enjoyed my beef bun mi, the bread was so soft and thr beef was delicious. I would've hope they added more carrots and vegetables but it was fine. My nephew and sister loved their dish since they come here every Friday night. The customer service we received was amazing, they constantly checked up on us and asked how was the food. Horrible service, wait staff is not fully trained. My family and I were forgiving, initially, because they are a new establishment. However, service just got worse. I ordered all beef pho and got 2 slices of beef, tensions, and tripe. I wasn't expecting that at all. I also ordered 2 orders of spring rolls; shrimp and pork. Server told me each order came with 3 rolls and I got 2. My family ordered other dishes. The price was okay but the service, quality, timeliness and flavor was severely lacking. I will not be going back. I was so excited about having pho in Porter Ranch. I wish if they were not ready to open they should have waited until all their ducks were in a row. As an appetizer, spring rolls (pork & shrimp) come with 2 rolls and peanut sauce to dip in. The combination of the pork and shrimp is light and delicious paired with the sauce. If you or someone that has an allergy of nuts, I recommend asking them to replace the sauce since it does come with actual peanut.

Bún Bò Tôm Chà Giờ is a rice noodle with pork, shrimp, and egg roll dish that comes with a sauce to pour over. I most definitely recommend giving it a try since the dish is always my go-to dish whenever I go to a Vietnamese restaurant. It’s like one of my comfort foods to eat at restaurants.

The service was relevantly good and quick for a Thursday afternoon since the one server had a few other tables to attend. The atmosphere was calm, mellow, and had Vietnamese music playing.
