I've been visiting this restaurant for over two years now, and here's my general overview of the place.
TL;DR at bottom. TL;DR = Too Long, Didn't Read.
Food - Great. The sushi is what you would expect from a sushi restaurant, and has always remained consistent every time I have visited.
Service - Hit or miss. This time, I was lucky to get a great server named Erin. She was attentive and cleared plates quite often. Also checked in and actually cared about the customer. She deserves a raise and is one of the decent servers at Sushi Ko. However, the last time I was here, I got a college guy who seemed like he didn't want to be there and was fed up with the requests my party was making. Forgot about my order and made me sit around 30 mins for a second round of All You Can Eat, and literally tossed the check on the table and walked away without saying a word. If you get a bad server, it will ruin your entire experience.
Helpful things to know:
All You Can Eat (AYCE) - Great deal! Definitely recommend ordering. Note that there is no takeaway and no sharing with another person who also isn't eating AYCE. However, AYCE is a great deal as it costs $30 with unlimited rolls and sushi. For perspective, each roll from the menu will set you back about $10. You also can choose sushi and AYCE comes with a scoop of ice cream.
If you're not up for All You Can Eat, the dinner combinations and bento boxes are great as well. They come with salad, rice, your choice of protein, tempura, and your choice of roll or sushi. Sushi and any other protein other than chicken will cost you 1 or 2 dollars more.
The restaurant was also recently renovated, and it looks great.
One more thing to note. Don't sit in a table 2 rows from the air conditioner unless you're a polar bear, as it is freezing (At least for me.) since all the air is blowing directly into your back the whole time while you're sitting there. The air also is very cold.
Great place overall, looking forward to coming back! (Dinner recommended.)
TL;DR: Food is great and always consistent, service is hit or miss (Please read into that more instead of just not going here) and restaurant is great overall. Definitely...

This restaurant has to be upfront and specific when it comes down to what they mean by all you can eat or what’s allow or not. I choose the all you can eat unlimited sushi, from the dinner menu. I chose this restaurant from a few others and I went with my wife. I started ordering the pieces that I wanted from the sashimi section, the sashimi came with rice which I didn’t know. I chose to eat some of the rice, but I rather eat the protein. As I was eating, the server comes up to me and said “you have to eat everything on your plate or else I would not be able to order more. With that comment, I looked at my wife and I looked at my plate ( he was referring to the rice). (This was my first round out of three as illustrated in the menu) is the first thing I said, this is embarrassing that you have to coming up to me and tell me what I can do and what I can’t do when I’m paying a premium to come to your establishment for “All you can eat”.
All the proteins were gone but the only thing on my plate was the little bit of rice that I left which was over portioned/ served with the sashimi.
This is embarrassing and poor business practice, that you have to tell your customers that “eat all your rice or else you will not be allow to order” , with that said if your customer does not want to eat all of his/her/him rice, Customer shouldn’t be forced to eat rice, when RICE cost cents on the dollar. I didn’t come to your establishment to eat rice, I came to your establishment to eat sashimi…all I can eat.. which you advertise.
If I order sashimi, and I choose to eat all the sushi (protein) over the rice, that’s up to me! your establishment should not jeopardize a customer for not eating ALL the RICE. This is false advertisement, or was a directed discrimination by your establishment.
If you’re reading this, you should go somewhere else .
I will be requesting a full refund by my Amex…
I will continue to elevate this up the channels until your business is recognize for poor business practice, discrimination and false...
Read moreWe have been coming to Sushi Ko for over 10 + years, sometimes 2-3 times a week except for last year (because of COVID).
We know the owners and we have seen a slew of chefs change. The sushi is middle of the road at best, but it is convenient and my son likes it.
We had made a reservation on a weekday at 7:30pm but got there 20 min late. We mentioned that we were late but said we would wait for the next table as there was no one after us.
Given that the tables were full we asked ( me and two teenagers) that they start preparing our food and if a table didn't open they could give it to us a to go (as we could be running close to closing time). As we were waiting another customer with a larger party came after us and put down their name.
When the next table opened I mentioned that we were in line. First they said it was a six person table (which wasn't the case as it was two small tables put together), then they made an excuse about us being late. When I pointed out that they were lying, instead of apologizing and admitting their mistake to salvage the situation, the owner's wife got aggressive.
Last time we are ever going to Sushi KO. No wonder they have such...
