This is a great park. Have been coming for years with my dog (always leashed). Beautiful scenery and a great way to escape from city life. Unfortunately, today was not so great. This morning I encountered not just one, but two unleased dogs. As soon as I saw them I doubled back toward a small creek and waited for them to pass. At first I thought the dog was with a bicyclist. As a result there was a lady aways back holding a leash in her hand and both dogs (one was bigger than my german shepherd) proceeded to approach my dog aggressively. I had put to myself in between my dog and those two dogs. Luckily the cyclist helped as much as he could. But it the lady at no time attempted to grab her dogs. Also if it wasn't for my dog wearing a vest, who knows the amount of damage the other dog could have made. My point to all this is PLEASE leash your dogs and if you can't handle your dog, then you should...

My wife and I came here today since the weather was nice with some clouds. My wife needed a nice walk in nature to release some stress so I figure this would be a good place. I tried doing the street parking which there were some before Corbin on Rinaldi or on the other side too. My wife wanted to use the bathroom first so I just parked my car at the Porter Ranch town center and walked from there to the hiking trail. It's a pretty good trail about 1.7 miles and has a nice small river so you can enjoy the sound of the water. When we made it to 1 particular spot with a swing and tire, I think that was the end of the trail...

I can't believe how awesome Limekiln Canyon Park is! I rolled in around 6 PM, Had to street park, but hey, that's all part of the adventure, right? The trail was downright gorgeous, and I got to play peek-a-boo with some fearless bunnies chomping on grass like there's no tomorrow. Shady spots galore, and you can even spy on a crystal-clear creek as you wander along. The hikers here? Friendliest bunch ever! They'd nod or flash a grin like we were all part of some secret club. Oh, and don't miss the pull-up workout station – muscles and nature, what's not to...

Valley Hiking Series (Limekiln Canyon Park) 🥾- Head out on this 3.8-mile out-and-back trail near Porter Ranch, California. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 31 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, running, and walking, so you’ll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.     🌳 19585 Rinaldi Street, Porter Ranch. Respect all posted signs and leave no trace behind.         Series Collaboration and Drone Footage Provided By @gerardomun0z
