I had zero expectations walking into this place, which is usually the best way to approach an unknown bistro where the menu might range from oysters to... confusion. But the moment I stepped inside, I spotted a glorious plate of pasta being eaten by some fine gentleman, and it looked like it had been hand-delivered straight from Bologna. After 10 days in the U.S., my Italo-reflex kicked in hard - I was practically crawling for real pasta. Flash-forward to me, mildly panicking, as I scanned the menu and couldn’t find that majestic dish anywhere. We had rushed the gathering to make it in time for the happy hour window (which, by the way, is totally worth rearranging your day for), and our six-pack party went all in on finger foods and shareables. Pasta dreams... crushed. Still, the gentleman who carried that mystery plate had the energy of someone serving art, and I swear the deep red color and oversized circumference of that dish haunted me for the rest of the meal. If you go and find it—please report back. For closure. In the meantime, let’s talk about the food I did get to try: top-tier share plates, great soul-food vibes, and burgers that make you reconsider your commitment to kale. Everything was on point, including the staff, who handled our slightly extended happy hour with a wink and professional grace. Now, one minor heartbreak: the margarita glass. I expected a half-gallon, salt-rimmed, two-handed goblet, and instead got a regular glass. Not tragic, but mildly insulting to my vacation mood. Thankfully, the happy hour discount came through like a hero, slicing our bill, and my bitternes, in half. So yes, San Pedro, your seaside bistro gets my stamp. Just save a plate of that pasta for me next time. And bring a bigger glass. Grazie.

In a quiet little corner by the ocean you’ll find a beautiful tucked away restaurant. The Seaside Bistro! The atmosphere is lively and nice. The waitress was quick to serve and help with the menu. The food here had great flavors and came out hot along with some refreshing nice drinks. The two dishes we got knocked us out of the park. The Cioppino with salmon, scallops, clams, and more was something I was blown away by. The soup tasted perfect with the spices and simmering of various mixtures of seafood. The bread they give had a great crunchy exterior and soft interior. The diablo shrimps we also got were the best spicy shrimps we’ve gotten around here. Not over the top hot but enough to clear sinuses. It was given with a side of cheese that you can put on top that together make it taste even better for those who enjoy that combination as well. If you’re looking for a place to just relax and sit with your partner. Family. Or come by yourself and sit at the bar. This place has you covered. Along with great hospitality this restaurant is a must if you’re around San Pedro.

🌺Exquisitely Delicious Double Birthday Meal of 6!

🌺A Special for This Day is TRULY VERY SPECIAL INDEED!

Perla is an amazing staff ! Professional, Prompt, Hospitable ,efficient! She told us about the Special for that day… I am a strong willed woman and I have already prepared in my mind what I would like to order. Upon hearing what she has to say. “Macadamia nut crusted Halibut in a lemon butter sauce on the bed of Spinach and mashed potato on the side!”

🌺What are my two confessions here: I PLAN to order lamb chops ; I ALMOST do not eat mashed potato (may be less than a dozen times in my life)

I ended up ordering the special with a side of rice and also the two birthday celebrants order the special !

🌺I am so Thanful to GOD, I did it… My Plate was SO Clean and I enjoyed every bite of the FRESH Halibut (medium ); soft and flavorful very delicate , the sauce is mild and did not compete with the natural ocean taste of the fish, CRUNCHINESS of the outside against the SOFT , cooked to perfection on the inside . Every bite has been Savored so amazingly that I asked to Perla , is ANGEL the Chef tonight , “when she said “YES! I was Rejoicing !

KUDOS to Perla and her fellow Staff (sorry I forget your name , Sir) And To ANGEL, the gentleman behind the great food, thank you for making the birthday of my husband and our daughter very meaningful.

🌺The meatloaf , Salad & Salmon orders of the other family members are all equally delicious according to each one of them!

Lastly, they lavished us with an amazing birthday Suprise of a chocolate cake and a special Serving of ice cream ! Wow!!!

If you are looking for a San Pedro dinner place to visit ?

COME! ENJOY at SEASIDE Bistro.

Their Super Tasty FOOD & Their Great Service with competitive prices , will make your spirit...

Took my mom here to celebrate her birthday and it was very disappointing, the only good thing is that my mom enjoyed her meal, which was the lamb and broccoli. The service was less than what I expected. The waitress we had, don’t know her name because she never introduced herself and I never asked, but she had red hair and face piercings. She walked by to “check” on us and that’s what it was, a walk by! She asked how the meal was and while I was responding she was still walking, her face never seemed welcoming or pleasant it was just blah as if she didn’t want to be there or serve us. Someone needs to teach her a bit more about good customer service. There were other waitresses that checked on us that were way more pleasant, 2 young ladies with curly hair and another with straight hair. Overall I give the service a 2 star only because of the other ladies who checked on us. My food wasn’t all the great, the fried calamari was super greasy so we barely touched it, and my main course which was a seafood pasta of some sort was nothing to write home about. I’m disappointed because I wanted to at least make the ending special for my mom by getting dessert and maybe have them write happy birthday or ask if the staff could sing her happy birthday since she’s never had that at a restaurant, but again the waitress’s service was less than welcoming and just...
