Starbucks — Restaurant in Los Angeles

My phone was about to die when I was ordering— I am vegan and don’t know much about Starbucks, but I was mostly there for the free holiday red cup. I asked the cashier for a vegan-friendly drink recommendation, and ordered what they said. Unfortunately, when I got the drink I realized it had whipped cream. I could have asked for a redo, but I don’t like confrontation and didn’t have time to explain it wasn’t vegan. To give the benefit of the doubt once I got home I searched up if the whipped cream at Starbucks was vegan and it said no. Overall, the service was great, and the atmosphere was nice. My advice to fellow vegans— ask about the ingredients on the menu beforehand, especially if your phone is running low on battery like mine was. I just assumed they knew which was the vegan option. To the cashier worker, you were great just know vegan don’t eat or drink dairy products or meat—I ended up giving the drink to a family member, and they enjoyed it so...

To make sure I I had got a ice coffee with toffee syrup and soy milk, it was really bitter. I took it back and they had no problem exchanging it for something I would like since I was not satisfied with my first choice. I chose my usual go to, green tea frappuccino. It is delicious.
