UPDATE Changing my original review from 1 star to 5 stars 👏👏👏 I’m back to work after a couple of months off and was so happy to see that this Starbucks is under renovation and has already opened up a pick up window as well as a walk up window to order! What a difference! My order was quick and easy to pick up…hoping it’s been an improvement for the employees too. I also am keeping the faith that when they fully reopen there will also be restrooms available to customers…
An honest review… Let me first say the employees at this location are dealing with a lot of things that nobody should have to deal with at work and it reflects in their service at times. I’ve mostly had good experiences here but a few times my coffee came w/ a little too much attitude or my order was carelessly made….To be fair they are HUMAN beings and I can’t see how the stuff that I have seen happen here (just being a customer a few times a week) wouldn’t affect anyones mental health day in and day out. This is a 24 hour location which I love for convenience but for the employees safety they often have to close the doors around 5:30pm so you’re forced to get in the drive thru line after already placing an order on the app…incredibly inconvenient when you’re running late for a long night shift. That drive thru line gets really long sometimes and by the time you get your order it’s cold or just made wrong all together and there’s nothing you can do about it.
I think the franchise owners of this location should be ashamed of themselves for not having security for their employees and patrons as busy as this location is day and night. It would take a lot of pressure off employees and be much more considerate to customers to have a pick up window like other locations if they need to close the doors but again a security guard would alleviate most of their issues…there is also a NO CUSTOMER RESTROOM policy…REALLY!??? I just paid $15 for a coffee and a sandwich and can’t use the bathroom!?? Come on! I would love to see this Starbucks do better for its employees and customers! I wonder do these franchise owners ever visit their own establishment to get a view of a customer’s ...
Read moreThe people that work at this location are the rudest people ever. This is a close work location for my boyfriend and I and it's gone to the point that we go out of our way to find a different location because of how rude the people are that work here. A we gave food to a homeless man who was sitting outside and he decided to go inside and eat it and the second that he sat down one of the guys came out from behind the counter at Starbucks and ask the man to leave because no one in Starbucks wanted to smell him. When I confronted the man and told him we purchase something for him and he should be allowed to eat that food inside the building if he so chose to the guy said you're absolutely right however he's homeless and he stinks and no one wants to smell that. So let me get this straight if you were homeless and you smelled and someone bought you food and you came in to sit down and eat it inside of Starbucks would you be offended when they asked you to leave because you smell. It's outrageous and ridiculous. A couple times in the last 3 weeks we've gone into the Starbucks just because it was closed we needed to use the restroom and needed to get our Starbucks. After ordering we asked for the PIN to the bathroom lady told us the restrooms were currently closed this was pretty annoying since I needed to use the restroom extremely bad I had been driving from Barstow California all the way into this location in a semi truck needing to use the restroom before dropping our load and I can't use the restroom. Today we were in Starbucks yet again and my boyfriend was told that he can't use the restroom and if he had a problem with it then he needs to call the police department. WHAT? HE ASKED WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY'RE CLOSED I JUST SAW A WOMAN COME OUT OF THE RESTROOM THE STARBUCKS EMPLOYEE REPLY SHE'S STARBUCKS FAMILY SHE USED TO WORK HERE. I mean it's ridiculous for employees to pick and choose who is allowed to use the restroom whether it were homeless or not is no reason to discriminate against somebody to use your public facilities especially after...
Read moreThis location justifies the "banning of fast food drive thru". After waiting for 8 minutes, the drive-thru line finally moves up 1 notch. Then after another 5 minutes of no movement, I exited the drive thru, parked and walked inside straight to the counter and was able to immediately order a beverage. Within 4 minutes, I was sipping a delicious hot cup o joe. The team that was working the counter at this time was EXCELLENT with one GLARING EXCEPTION, the exception being the young lady that was assisting the barista by hand delivering the beverages. It is obvious that she did not want be at work today and she wanted everyone and none to know this. Never have I ever encountered someone in food service that would intentionally not make eye contact with the customers that they are currently serving. Even when I made a second attempt to greet her, she had already placed her face in an upward looking position that would then allow her to NOT see you. Basically speaking, she made certain that eye contact would never happen and that feeling was confirmed by the indifference in her voice. TOP NOTE:...
