I place an order right now for a grande caramel frappuccino with an added shot and no whip, the girl set up the payment and before I could tell her extra caramel she went to go help resolve someone else's issue. I greatly appreciate that she's working hard to resolve everything. What I don't appreciate was the girl with black hair that was making the drinks being rude when I saw her making my drink and I asked her directly if I could have extra caramel, ah yes no problem would have been nice but instead she decided to let the bad day she must be having come out of her and her response was next time you need to tell them in the front in which I said to her I would have but she was helping somebody else and I didn't want to interrupt so I'm asking you and she literally just stayed quiet the whole time like she knew she how to mess up attitude and when I walked out after getting my food from the girl that took my order who again was working twice as hard as she was the girl with the red hair, I said to her very loudly that I hope she has a better day, there is no way I was going to keep carrying that energy with me I put it back on her and I hope that in the future instead of telling people what to do next time that she should consider that next time I could be going to your competitors I don't have to be paying $7 of coffee to come here and support paying your minimum wage salary when I can be going elsewhere so be more grateful to the people that give money to your shop because without us you wouldn't have a paycheck this was at 1:50 p.m. Sunday September 1st I'm sure you guys can do the rest and figure...
Read moreI came for brunch with friends and the place was lively at 11am. Outside it just looks like a big head wall but inside when you walk in is pretty cool. It looks like a library bar inside and when you step in the seating area it's almost like you're outside but you're spared the heat and business of the street. They had a live jazz band playing some modern music. There are two bars, one inside and one outside accompanied by a fireplace taking up a good amount of space in the middle of the seating area. There's a feel like you're sitting outside but under the shade of an open warehouse. The outside seating area offers a good vibe for brunch time and I can only imagine how intimate it would be in the evenings. Parking is handled by valet unless you find parking on the street. There are bathrooms here but it's just one room with multiple private stalls for all. The service was a bit slow when I went but hopefully it was just a one time thing. As for the food, it was delicious! Everything from the omlette station, to the meat and then dessert section was great! I would definitely...
Read moreI was driving to CSUN. I just got off Highway 405 and realized I had time for breakfast. It was so insanely early. It was about 6:15am. So being unfamiliar with the area, I was eyeing and driving for a "fast breakfast". I eyed this Starbucks in a shopping plaza on the corner of Nordhoff and Wooley. But it doesn't have a drive thru. I made an unturn and off I went. The area seemed safe. The Starbucks had glass walls with views of the parking lot which was directly in front and along the shop. Overall the customer service was good. The food was typical Starbucks quality, served up quick and hot.
I bought some breakfast sandwiches and bottles of OJ. The sandwiches were typical Starbucks and served hot. The bottled OJ was a cold pressed brand and tasted way better than Minute Maid which seems to be the default brand at most Starbucks.
The location has indoor seating. There seems to be an outdoor side patio as well but there were no tables and chairs set up out there. Not sure if they usually do have outdoor seating and just haven't set up for...
