We just moved to the area and had yet to find a really great sushi spot. The quality of the fish is of the highest. We eat a lot of sushi and were spoiled before living in Hollywood with so many sushi options.
This place hands down is the best we've experienced.
Chef Tommy really takes his sushi seriously and it shows. The fish is 100% fresh and the quality is of the highest. The precision and detail really showcases each fish in its own flavor. In the right hands, sushi is like an art form and Tommy is definitely an artist.
We were so impressed we stayed to give our praises to the chef and were blown away by his in depth knowledge of fish and his commitment to finding the freshest both local and flown in fish. The salmon was fresh from Scotland!!!

Small little restaurant tucked away in deep Sun Valley. I came in for lunch and I was surprised how good the food was. We ordered the lunch special with chicken teriyaki, salad, pork goyoza and the California roll. Not a bad deal at all for $15.99. We also ordered the spicy scallop cut roll, albacore cut roll and a yellowtail cut roll. All the food was excellent. The staff was very nice and we received good service. My fiancé picked this restaurant for us to try on a whim, and I was genuinely amazed by our experience that evening. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious. A kind Japanese man at the bar even treated us to a plate of usuzukuri, which was a delightful surprise. The lighting and ambiance were perfect for a relaxed dinner.
