Man!!!! These guys!!!
My HUGE issue with most taco stands is that they boil their carne Asada before throwing it on the comal (all that flavor, lost!!!) or they typically underseason it.
These guys use a comal. You can tell the meat goes straight on there cause there's little to no flavor loss. Juicy yet perfectly crispy too! Haven't had a dry asada yet.
My go to is the torta here. They make 'em FAT! Quesadillas are just as noteworthy.
If you go during the weekend in the evening(Friday included), they will have a little funnel cake stand as well (they sell other goodies too!).
You can eat there on or in your car, standing, or take it home. I don't live far and my food is usually still hot by the time I get there.
Been coming here since I moved here, and will likely keep coming back even if I move away.
Careful with their salsas! That orange one will make you cry! 🤣
They accept cash and card.
There's also a lady sometimes that sells chocolates for cash.
Busy hours are dinner for sure. Lunch it's easy to get served quickly.
Surprised there's other taco stands near by with these guys around!
Wait time isn't that long, but parking can be a bit of a hassle. There's usually a security guard, if you don't see...
Read moreLocated in the same parking lot with SoCal Tires & Wheels, Tacos Los Güichos put the “street” in streets tacos! Situated in the parking lot with a tire and alignment shop blasting Spanish music and in the middle of a busy intersection, the place scores high in atmosphere.
The tacos options are the same that you would fine in most of these type of places, from legua, cabeza, asado, pastor, pollo, sudadero, chorizo, buche, and tropa. I had an assortment of the meats and from all of them the best flavor came from the el pastor! Each tacos is $2.75 and you can add any of their 4 types/intensity hot sauce and top with onions with cilantro.
I would say for a quick fix or for a taste of legit street food, this taco place is pretty neat! A little hard to find but if you see the tire shop, just pull in and the taco shop is right on the corner of the same parking lot! Dine with...
Read moreWow! I'm bummed I'm just now finding out about this place. All I heard was this place had bomb tacos and the Al pastor was what I had to get. After the Dodger game we decided to stop by. I started with one carne asada and one pastor taco. I ended up ordering a second round and trying the carnitas taco too. Everything was great! Tacos are $1.50 each. They're street taco sized tacos... When you order the pastor tacos you get a separate ticket (than if you ordered something else). Take that ticket straight to the guy taking care of the pastor. He handles that and the truck takes care of anything else. There were 3 different salsas. The orange looking salsa is hottest... Had me sweatin! But it was good. The service was great and I can't wait...
