The restaurant isn't exactly pretty inside, but the people working there are very friendly, which greatly enhances the atmosphere. The tables were clean when I was there. The food service was relatively fast. I ordered tacos de barbacoa and an horchata. They have a homemade horchata, but they use an ingredient I'm not particularly fond of (condensed milk, I think), so it wasn't my favorite. But considering it contained a flavor I typically don't like, it was surprisingly decent. The tacos de barbacoa were good, not great. The spices and seasonings were a bit mild and it probably could have used a little more salt. That being said, I was able to enjoy them and didn't regret eating here. It is worth trying again, so I will update my review afterwards.

This place has been here in Chatsworth for about 5 years. Pretty decent mexican food. I went for the taco combo. The meats are great. The tortilla i would love an upgraded version personally but definitely a good taqueria for the price. They don’t currently do UberEats or DoorDash but hopefully they will soon.

Tacos MIchoacan #1 on Nordhoff & Corbin, in Northridge has the best tacos in a 10 mile radius.

I have eaten literally THOUSANDS of tacos in my life and I judge a restaurant by their Pastor, And let me tell you Muchoacan, Hits them OUT Of the park... Always Moist, Just enough bbq, and just a touch of pineapple flavor (not overly sweet like many places) AYE QUE RICO!

Also the Chicken tacos are excellent! I usually stick to Carne Asada and Tacos Al Pastor, but the flavor on the Pollo tacos with their house salsa verde is Excellente!

We drive all the way from Encino on the other side of the 101 WHENEVER we want real authentic tacos. If you live nearby you should go, because I am jealous and would love to have this gem of a mexican restaurant close to me.

BEWARE ! I got the tostada de ceviche there and was terribly disappointed. The ceviche was noticeably old. It had brown cilantro and a pungent taste. I went to take it back to in order to exchange it and the man in charge said that it wasn't old and that they serve it like that all the time! The staff was upset at the fact that I took it back even after being polite about it. In the end I decided to get my money back. Not going...
