First, I want to say this review is LONG overdue. Second, I want to say that a few years ago, I realized that eating beef or pork typically causes me severe intestinal distress, so I very rarely eat either. And lastly, it’s imperative to say that I am perhaps the pickiest eater on the planet. My adult sons tell me my food palate is that of a toddler – I won’t eat, or even try most foods, including eggs, seafood, fish, or foods that look weird or have mushy textures (like mushrooms or tofu), in addition to a litany of other foods, so if I write a positive food review, rest assured, the restaurant, and food, was phenomenal. Months ago, I was invited to Los Angeles, with my friend of more than thirty years, Martha. On our first evening, we went to eat at Buenos Aires Grill with her aunt, uncle, mom, and cousins – in total, we were a party of seven. All of the food ordered was shared, family style. Since I had heard so much about the restaurant, I knew I wanted to try everything – and clearly, I (almost) did. Since Martha had eaten there before, and she knows my likes and dislikes, I requested she place the order on my behalf. We started with the empanadas. OH, MY GAWD… THESE empanadas are the ABSOLUTE BEST I have EVER eaten – EVER… E.V.E.R. and I have lived in Cuba, México, and Spain… The empanadas are sheer PERFECTION… they APPEAR to be fake – they are absolutely flawlessly shaped and baked… their crust is neither too thin nor too thick. The filling was drool inducing and I, honestly, genuinely, doubted the taste could be improved, but once I topped the empanada with the chimichurri, if I would have died, in that moment, I would have rested in peace as the happiest human on Earth. She also ordered both the Quesos Fundido and Provoleta and the Chimichurri and (French) Bread (baguette) – I LOVE CHEESE, and French bread, but, once again, I am PICKY – and skeptical of new foods. Both the cheeses caused my salivary glands to go into elated overdrive. The union of cheese, chimichurri, and the baguette… TO DIE FOR. <insert image of drooling> I don’t know if Martha ordered the Manolo or Buenos Aires Parrilla, but I ate a bite, or two, of each and every single one of the elements. Despite having lived in Texas since 1990, and as an individual who has eaten countless steaks, ribs, sausages, and chorizo, I have never eaten more deliciously seasoned, epically prepared, and perfectly grilled bites of beef and pork. In addition to the meat, the parrillas were accompanied by mashed potatoes, French fries, Spanish rice, and sautéed vegetables. HOLY MOLY – each side was mouthwatering, scrumptious, delightful. Fearing I would not want to eat the meat, based on the aforementioned explanation, Martha also ordered the Spinach & Cheese Ravioli and the Chicken Alfredo… I have eaten A LOT of pasta dishes in my day… I was raised to believe I was 50% Italian (thanks to 23andMe, I now know that is false). In any case, I’m confident that my recent diagnosis of pre-diabetes is a direct result of my insatiable desire and propensity for the consumption of carbohydrates, but I digress… the ravioli, the linguini, the tomato, and Alfredo sauces were exquisitely delectable, positively blissful, absolutely scrumptious. Side note: just writing this review is making my mouth water… Since Martha had not seen her aunt, uncle, and cousins, in quite some time, the dinner was also the pretense for a family gathering and celebration for her uncle’s birthday. We consumed more bottles of wine than I care to admit because their selection was absolutely superb. I know we had dessert, but, for the life of me, I cannot recall WHAT we ate (thanks to the imbibement) … all I remember is that it, too, was luscious. It’s also important to mention that I, too, am extremely particular about where I use a public restroom – but, since I had so much wine, it was necessary I take a bio-break. The restroom was super tidy, well stocked, and clean – something I undoubtedly appreciate.

I created a memory here that I will remember for the rest of my life! I watched Messi and Argentina lift the 2022 World Cup trophy in what was the greatest match I’ve seen to date. It was awesome to witness the passion from all the Argentina supporters here at the restaurant. It truly made for an experience like no other. The interior, while packed with people standing and sitting, looked well renovated and clean. They used to have tables the last time I was here, but converted to booths for better comfort and efficient use of space. While I unfortunately didn’t have any main entrees, like the Steak, I tried the cheese and onion and beef Empanadas and they were fantastic! The Chimichurri sauce was also insanely delicious, and you can buy large to-go portions of it. The owner was extremely nice to everyone, and gave champagne to all the supporters after the game. I will definitely be back here and will update my review when I try more meals here. I highly recommend this place!

A fantastic Argentinian Steakhouse offering absolutely delectable faire for a reasonable price - particularly for the portions served. There's the option to have a much cheaper lunch with their lunch and sandwich menu, but the steaks are the reason to go here. The individual parrilla has a skirt steak cooked to perfection, a sausage that was good if a tad on the mellow side for flavor, fantastic beef short ribs, and delicious sweet bread, plus some sauteed red peppers that were quite good. The side of creamed spinach was fantastic and is portioned like a bowl of soup. The mountain of sauteed mushrooms for a $5 "steak topping" were an absolute steal, though they really deserve some sort of seasoning. The complimentary bread and chimichurri were a great touch while waiting and the empenadas appetizer might honestly be tied with the skirt steak for my favorite part of the meal. Overall, this is a fantastic steakhouse with amazing service, great food, and a nice ambiance.

Me and my Son were here on Sunday, May12th, 2024, in Mother's day! It was the most horrible experience i ever had!! brought bread to our table, it was so old, and hard to chew. We had as appetizer a chorizo, it was raw, and awful! Then we had beef and Chicken milanesas, HORRIBLE! tough and dry as shoe sole! The beef Milanesa, was supposed to be Fillet Mignon not such thing! It was so dry and hard! We struggled cutting it! It looks like someone's leftovers, and they re-he It, on an AIR FRYER and brought it to us! Not worth it! Disgusting. This restaurant not good anymore! No respect for Customers! The mash potatoes awful, no taste, it was just sitting for days and reheated, dry. We asked for lemon to at least we can have some flavor, the waiter Julio, I believe he's from Perú, told us, we don't have more lemon 🍋. I felt sorry for my son who invited me, because I suggested him to go there! We asked for a chorizo as appetizer, it was raw, awful! We paid $120.00 for this disgusting food! The beef milanesa was supposed to be "Fillet Mignon". My Gosh, need it a saw to cut it! The chicken milanesa, also terrible! They had this background music, annoying ! Shame on you! I already contacted today the supposed Mgr, Evelyn, said oh I'm so sorry, next time, ask for me . We won't came back anymore! I felt sorry for my son, had to pay all that money, for this kind of food! I believe, not even the argentinians want to be there Place was ful of different people, that doesn't know about Argentinian food Plus the music was awful! You need to upgrade you restaurant ! Quality food, service, and personal! And the Mgr Evelyn asked me for our waiters name, it's not the waiters fault! Is your lousy cook! Don't you check the plates before presenting to the tables? If you want to make easy Money, earn it! You don't treat customers this way! This was my horrible experience i EVER had on a Mother's day ! Shame! I highly recommend : CORRIENTES 348, IN TARZANA! Or even better, Mercado buenosAires, in Sepulveda, ...

My wife and I arrived there sooner than expected so we went in at 5:50pm since I had made a reservation. I went up to the counter and checked in. She said let us clean this booth and you may sit here. However there was a booth right across that was clean and empty but I just left it alone. Then a lady and her husband come in and they get seated before us and it’s at the clean booth. By 5:55pm we were seated. 20minutes later we got bread and chimichurri. The chimichurri was very cloudy and it didn’t feel fresh. Not one server came by and asked what we wanted to drink. it was 6:45pm when I turned around and asked the hostess who seats everyone if we were going to be tended to. I watched as she chased waiter after waiter and finally someone shows up. The guy was unapologetic. He took our order and went on his way. I payed attention to the time and it was 7:15 before we got our food. And it wasn’t even hot. The only thing we enjoyed mainly was the sides we ordered. My wife had asked for a cappuccino when she ordered our food and had to ask again for it since he failed to bring it. So when she asked for it when she had finished eating, he says “oh wow you had asked for that in the beginning”. Now me and my wife have been here before on multiple occasions but this was the worst experience we...
