Came in today with my kids mom and brother not sure what the lady's name is but she had blonde hair and her attitude was horrible.... not sure why she's working in the front taking orders if she's going to be miserable. I came on yelp to see if I was the only one that had experienced bad service from her but I believe we are all talking about the same lady. We placed our order sat down and the people behind us were still ordering so I went back in line because I had forgotten to buy my kids drinks since she had and attitude I was distracted and did not want to say anything wrong and I just wanted to place our order and get a table. Now it was our turn again and we asked if the Tijuana style tacos that we ordered with everything meant it had Salas she then gave us this look like everything means everything and she said yes and we asked if we can take off the Salsa because they were for my mom and she had stomach problems and did not want to eat that much spicy food mind you we had just placed the order and she said well you placed the order already and if it's already made we are not changing it and I thought to myself whatever happen to customer service and customer satisfaction? I don't know of any food place that will ever say that to a customer, the customers should always have a good experience and she should not say that and specially be that rude. She then went to the back literally took and second came back and she said they couldn't change the order. Beware when this lady takes your order expect this attitude from her and be ready to speak up because that's not a correct way to speak...

I ate inside again by myself after a couple of medical appointments. I really need to introduce this place to my son that lives in Northridge and is a student and educator at CSUN. I was sorry to see a sign on the front door that the founder has passed away and no longer with us to continue watching his success continue to grow and impact more lives in a positive way. 1st Post - This was my first time to try this place and it won't be the last. I ordered the quesotacos with shredded beef and a side of rice. It was EXCELLENT and the other plates that were served on the adjoining tables for a family of 4 and another family of 5 looked delicious too. They appeared to be enjoying the food as much as I did. The cashier was very nice and briefed me of this family owned business success story. I am so impressed with the rapid growth for them and that they are currently preparing a 2nd location within the 1st year of this first brick and mortar location being opened. All this started with a mobil truck! One thing that can be said, is that "The American Dream Still Lives" Live On Dreamers.......
Read moreI’ll start off by saying I was so interested in this place as it was being hyped up and a business that had just expanded.
Went to order food to take home. Cashier was very friendly and the vibe inside is a mesh between an attempt to be trendy and authentic. Upon ordering I was very disappointed to find that the horchata they sell is the nasty type that isn’t homemade but available through the fountain machines.
The wait was a bit long but gave my bf and I a chance to unwind from the day. Upon taking the food home ( a quick 5 min drive) it was time to grub.
The green salsa was very citrusy and not spicy at all. The red was moderately spicy but I tend to not like the red esque salsas. I had read lots of reviews of too much fat and was worried but didn’t have that happen to me. The tacos just aren’t my style as the Mulitas tortilla was like a stale tortilla with no flavor. The Queso taco didn’t have the cheese melted well in comparison to other street tacos I’ve tried which was disappointing. The meat had a decent taste but overall didn’t live up to the hype.
Ok place for tacos but the taco truck on Sherman way and Shoup will keep my...
