I’m first time dinning in this restaurant because it’s 4.6 in Google. I noticed there’s some bad review about worse service for this Thai restaurant. I assume food can make up everything. However, it’s way worse than I can imaging. We were group of 8 people. First of all, she didn’t give us water after we sat down for awhile. When we asked for water, she asked me back with impatient tone: for everyone?! Excuse me? Should we share a cup of water in your restaurant? Secondary, we want to share food so we can try everything. When we ask her how big of the portion, she looked at me inexplicably and said just for one person. I understand it’s for one persons. But I’m wondering how big of the noodle so we should order 2 or 3 for sharing. I asked her nicely again with hand sign. Is good for one person like this size or bigger, smaller? She still said same thing: it’s good for one person. I was really speechless. Third, every time when she drop off food, she was just standing there and holding food. She’s waiting us to clean the table FOR HER. God, shouldn’t you clean the table before you delivery food out? We had 8 people to share soup. She just gave us 5 bowls. I guess this restaurant really want their customers to share setting. During the whole time, the service was talking to the kitchen, never ask us How’s everything. I hear she mention our order. I’m wondering was she talking us with kitchen. Seriously, I really want to leave if I was not with kids. They were too hungry. Food was actually just ok. It was not bad. But I’ll never come back again bc service was terrible. At the end our bill comes out $165 and everyone were still hungry. The lady also mandatory...
Read moreI’ve been going to Thai Fresh for over a year now, and I have to say I’ve never been disappointed. I usually take it to go and eat it at work. It’s quickly become a favorite lunch option at my office!
My recommendations:
Pad Thai - You can’t go wrong with this. If you want to mix it up, then give the crab noodles a try. All their noodle dishes are large portions and very filling.
Panang Curry - This is by far my favorite curry at this location. The brisket is tender and the curry is creamy and packed with flavor. I like pairing this with roti or sticky rice.
Guay Teow Ped - I tried this one today and it was delicious. It’s a duck noodle soup with a sweet and savory broth.
The restaurant itself is small and intimate. Would not recommend going in a large group, but it’s great for a party of two.
If want a new Thai restaurant in your rotation, then Thai Fresh is...
Read moreI walk past this place almost everyday and thought about trying it but it was always at an odd hour for lunch. One day I decided to stop in just to see and found out you could get food to go which made me extremely excited. It's a cozy restaurant but not noticeable from traffic due to being in the corner of a tight plaza that's behind Sprouts. I wish i knew the name of the waitress, but she didn't wear a name tag. She was very nice and made sure my soup was packaged carefully. I got the Tom kha (with tofu). It was wonderful and I have only had it as good in one other restaurant in another town. The base was rich but not too thick and heavy with hearty doses of mushrooms (my favorite, yum!) and the most tofu I have ever seen on my life. Definitely got bang for my buck with it! I'm eagerly waiting for tomorrow where I...
