I’m not from LA but I visit every few months. Before the new owner I really liked this place but I feel it’s gone downhill since. I went twice with the new owner there and did not like it. Both times I’ve went there the owner just seems to act “above” everybody. Today I went in for the last time. I sat down at the table and it wasn’t busy at all. He only had 2 and a half tables with 2 employees and we sat down for over 15 minutes with them just walking by us and checking on the other 2 and a half tables. We finally got up to leave and the owner walked out and jumped in his rental bmw and left. Last time I was there I also had to wait to pay for him to go get gas while he had other employees who couldn’t take my payment. Also I pay 100$ for 2 hookah which is crazy! If you want some good hookah that’s half the price go check out smoke & fire hookah lounge in Redondo beach. Also the owner always talks to his customers about how busy he is but I never see the...
Read moreWatch out for this restaurant, they’re a rip off. We ordered tea, and I asked for some honey, they brought us a few drops of honey and then charged us $3 for it (WITHOUT TELLING YOU IN ADVANCE), Honey is free in every café, and it’s like a sugar for the tea. Not to mention the price of the tea ($18/mini pot), like a price of a main dish in a 5 star hotel. We ordered hookah and we saw an extra charge on the bill. We asked why, they said if you mix it with different flavor there will be an extra charge. WHY WOULD YOU NOT TELL THIS TO CUSTOMERS in advance instead of having a FINE writing somewhere on the bottom of the menu like people are supposed to bring their magnifying glass with them to see it or surprise them with the damn bill?????? Maybe some people are not rich as you think they are. This restaurant is nothing but a...
Read moreMy friend and I are from out of state and wanted to find a good place where there is Mediterranean food and hookah. We were very disappointed with the food and hookah. We first had to sit in another area to eat. We were the only two people in there. The hummus did not taste good and the pita bread was thin. I ordered the grilled chicken they have on the menu and it came with rice and salad. The chicken should've been cooked for longer. We then had the hookah. We paid $35 for hookah that wasn't even worth it. It was a very weak hookah. The music was also putting us to sleep. We decided to just leave after a while of being so disappointed. I would definitely not...
