I really want to love Rancherito. It's across the street from me. Five times I have ordered and asked for no cilantro on a carne asada burrito and five times I have received cilantro.

I wish I liked cilantro, but I don't. I continued to give Rancherito a chance to make the burrito, but every time, there was a large handful of cilantro on it. I specifically said, is no cilantro okay? Sin cilantro por favor, is that something that is available? I always ask because sometimes it's in the rice and it's not possible.

This last time I went on 2/24*, I learned exactly what to say in Spanish to make sure they understood I didn't want cilantro. The woman and gentleman working behind the counter recognized me; they are very nice at Rancherito and always give a smile.

For some reason, though, my order never makes it more than five feet before being mixed up, and I get a burrito for 15$ that I don't even want to touch.

I really want to like this place; the meat is delicious, but I've never been able to finish one of their burritos. In their defense, I have not given them a chance to make it up yet. I walked in and said, "Every time I order a burrito, I ask for no cilantro and get cilantro. I don't even want this, and I don't want another one." I was not loud and did not raise my voice, but I also didn't give them a chance to respond.

I'm incredibly frustrated, and I hope the owners can understand where I am...

Food taste home-made. The caldo de pollo, caldo de res, and burrito mojado (Wet Burrito) are my favorite. They usually have the red wet burrito but I ask for it to be custom made in green Salsa with extra cheese and sometimes carne asada with shrimp. My most favorite breakfast choice here are the: "Chilaquiles Rojos" Combo. It's really good.

My husband's favorite dish is the "Bistec Talpatiqueño" Combo. It comes with macaroni salad, 2 quesadillas. Also their fresh aguas frescas are really good. They have: Melon, Sandia, Horchata, Jamaica. Some could be available. It varies on the day.

The seating is good to dine in either for couples, a small family and also a bigger crowd. Service is great, friendly- family oriented. Your food is ordered Infront, if you dine-in waitress or waiter will take it to your table. They have restrooms outside behind...

I think it's important to try the fare more than just once in order to give a fair rating and my god... this place is clutch. I am new to The Valley and was a bit sad to see the lack of quality or even quantity of food locations other than the typical Food Desert options. I typically try to go for their morning special which is seriously an insane value for the quality food you get at such an affordable price. The staff is top notch in my opinion. They are always busy yet manage to give you full attention while communicating with them. I can rarely hit an expensive restaurant and get that type of service. I'm so glad to see that they are flourishing still during these uncertain times. I have and will continue to spend my money at this location. Proud to be one of their...

If your looking for a a great tasting mom and pop Mexican restaurant with friendly staff and decent prices this is the place for you. The food is delicious and prepared fresh, I've tried many plates and I have loved all of them. I would recommend the lengua plate and the steak and shrimp but feel free to explore all their options which will be just as delicious. The portions are very generous and the price decent at about $10 avg per person which is a deal for the amount of food you get, so if your ever in the area make sure to stop by and enjoy a delicious meal here.

WOW!! This place has the best food and the best salsa bar! I had the Huevos Rancheros, and it's probably the best in the Valley, and an Al Pastor taco, with an Horchata, and it was all perfect. I've recently tried the Asada Taco, and that is perfect as well. The salsa bar is also very good/fresh, and has sauces ranging from mild to hot--their avocado salsa is very good. The service is also really nice. I will definitely be back:)

I just finished eating here and it was a total waste of money.I ordered the deep fried chicken breast and when I was eating I found a hair.I asked one of the female workers there for a manager only for her to tell me he's not here.It was like they wanted me to leave because no one came to my table and the workers just kept opening and closing the door to see if i had left.
