This business needs to stay true to what they advertise and train the staff to be attentive to customers needs.
My girlfriend purchased a chili chesseburger for me. After waiting for the order and seeing it just sit on the counter without letting us know, I was ready to dive in and eat. I hadn't eaten in about 16 hours, so I was really hungry.
Upon opening the wrap, I was disappointed with the burger. I took a few bites, because I needed something in my stomach. After I bit a few times, I walked up to the front counter and asked for help. A lady came over and I questioned why the burger did not look like what they were advertising. A high school cafeteria can place together a better presentation. This thing was slopped together and a 1/3 of the size that was advertised. I told her I wanted the premium burger that was paid for and I even asked her to come out from the counter to take a look at the presentation of the advertisement and compare it to the food provided. She then walked away.
After she walked away, a few minutes passed and she said she will help me out now. She said this as she walked away towards the other direction. By this time she had spoken in Spanish to all the other employee's about the situation. Now all the employee's would just turn around and stare at me. It gave me the impression that I was not a concern nor was I going to be helped.
By this time I wanted a refund and I wanted to leave, never to come back again. The entire staff ignored me. I waited 10 minutes, then left. I left the burger on the counter and without a refund.
The store owner responded on yelp to my concern in which I asked for a refund. He did...
Read moreThe only thing I absolutely cannot stand is the way the female employees talk down about certain people. it's like they are discriminating and stereotyping which are both bad attributes to have at a business where they have customer service eg: Burger place. Besides the rudeness from the female persuasion everything else is all right. That's my only complaint. I have an idea where they picked up this bad habit. The behavior of the managers wife is the worst display of disrespect I've ever experienced in my life at a restaurant anyway. Oh well. I bet if she changed her ugly disposition the other employees would follow her lead but what do I know I'm just a lowly disgruntled customer?? If you could get past the discrimination and the dirty looks , enough to get something to eat then I think you'll enjoy the food. My favorite is the breakfast menu...
Read moreThe only upside to Tom's Burgers is they accept EBT.
I ordered my chili burger, it took a while but that's usually a sign of better food as they're cooking it fresh. Oh God I was wrong. The burger itself had a good centimeter of smelly char on it, that means that the grill top they're using hasn't been cleaned effectively in possibly months. The chili on the burger was the most likely the discount chili from the 99c store across the street, it tasted the same. The cheese was American, which some people like but personally I want cheese with milk, not plastic. If what I described above sounds appetizing, go ahead to Tom's Burgers. I didn't finish my meal and I'm not planning on going back. Go to Wingstop or Little Ceasers' instead, you will have better...
